Love the design and furnitures. -

Good location, just 20 min walk to central city (a nice path along the river and next to a park). Easy to park a car if you drive and not have to drive into town. Good room. Nice restaurant at the Hotel. Bikes for rent.

Traditional style Austrian guest house. Superb restaurant and beer garden downstairs. Excellent food. The owner is there all the time and works the floor.... it shows, great dedication and service.. Bus right infront of the door to get into Salzbug. Beautiful breakfast, make sure you book with the room and save! The price is a little on the higher side, but that seems standard in the region. Would definitely stay again

All good!

The location and the staff was really good an helpful The walls are thin, so it’s pretty noisy and difficult to sleep if you are a light sleeper
-
Friendly staff and nice location. Also a very nice breakfast for 17 euros. Check in can take extra time if the restaurant is busy.

The place is located farther from the city center than I expected but in a beautiful and safe area, nevertheless. The staff is very welcoming and the interior design is lovely. The room also was a nice surprise, very comfortable and clean. The room needs a kettle and cups for some warm water and tea, especially in the cold days.

The reception was not ideal

Clean and cozy room in a quiet location. Private free parking is a plus (including 2 paid slow charging EV stations inside the parking). 15-20 min by bus to the city center, safe walking towards the station. Free bikes available. Although we didn't use the restaurant, it has good reviews and a clean kitchen. Tiny shower space.

Easy self check in, very clean, convenient location, comfortable They could improve their communication during his Monday off.

My room was a little small and quite warm in the middle of summer (no air conditioning), but I think other rooms on the second floor are bigger and cooler.
-
The room was spotlessly clean. The location was convenient and a public transportation pass was included. It felt very safe. When you book through this site, breakfast is not included. There is not even a hot water pot for a morning cup. I wish I would have booked directly. There is only one shared bathroom that includes the shower and toilet in one lockable room. I did go downstairs and use the restaurant toilet a few times as needed. The view was onto a fairly quiet street.

Poor wifi in my top floor room. I just sat downstairs when using my laptop

This of course is NOT a luxury hotel but yet still a gem in Salzburg. The location is perfect. The walking path runs alongside the Salzach River which divides the city's Old Town and Hohensalzburg Fortress and the newer district. It's about a 15 minute walk and across the bridge to the Old Town which is the destination. The owner of the hotel Lukas (who is super engaging and lovely) also runs a FABULOUS, warm, welcoming and beautiful old world restaurant on the property. The food is authentic and delicious. The Wiener Schnitzel is OUTSTANDING (something Lukas is VERY proud of!!) I am Austrian, trust me. The open air kitchen is super clean and organized...They also have outdoor seating. Locals as well as visitors come to enjoy lunch that is served there. The rooms are a good attempt at mid-century modern meets bohemian....and they are SPOTLESS. If you miss breakfast...which unfortunately we did there is a sweet little bakery just around the corner!! We had a great stay. Things to take note of: -The path goes all the way to Italy so avid cyclists love to stay here for the convenience. -The parking is perfect. -If you NEED air-conditioning do not come here during peak summer months, it can be unbearable!! I wish it was air-conditioned.

Everything was great. It wasn’t as central as I thought it would be. But the efficient bus system of Salzburg made up for this. Also breakfast wasn’t included. So I paid extra and had breakfast at the hotel for two mornings. It was okay but the baked goods didn’t feel that fresh.

i liked the staff, the facility, the room. they stoped the heat at night, it was really cold, even tho i asked the stuff but he gave me a “respectful” answer, about how they will start heating up the room afther the groundfoor is heatet. we where in room 27 on the second floor. squeaking bad, floor, stares, u heard everyone who was outside on the corridor.

Definitely the staff, from the moment I arrived, very welcoming, provided all the key information and more. I also got information about the various touristic stuff I could do and ended up purchasing the Salzburg card, if you're planning to check some of the main attractions, then the card makes sense, costs only €28 for 24h, when you compare the normal ticket prices for some of the attractions, then it's a no brainer. My room was more than enough for solo, single bed, clothing rail, towels, TV and small sinc to brush your teeth, face wash etc. Mattress could be improved a bit, but for only 2 nights, was OK for me, I even requested a better pillow and was given with no problem. Bathroom was just outside the room, though shared, never had issues, always clean. The hotel restaurant is also very nice with good options for food and prices are decent. Overall my experience was very positive, location is simply amazing, about 25 min walk to Town, with nice views to the Austrian alps while you're walking. I recommend and would definitely return! Gracias por todo amigos! ?
