We came during the nighttime and during the monsoon season, so be aware my experience was probably very different then others. Overall I would stay here again just based off the fact that the room was really comfortable and the staff were very nice. My sister and I stayed here for the night, the bed was very large and comfortable. The wifi was good and stable. The bathroom was large. Nothing to be honest. I can't comment on the hotel amenties as we did not utilize them.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at Green Beach resort very much to our satisfaction. Upon arrival we were received hospitably and were allowed into our villa 3 hours before normal check-in hours. For 3 days we enjoyed the buffet breakfast with quite a large variety of food, both Thai dishes and western style. The food was tasteful and fresh. The first day we just relaxed at the big pool and enjoyed a walk on the long and wide beach. On second day we borrowed 4 bikes (complimentary of the resort) and cycled to the national park entrance. There we bought tickets (200 baht) and went on a trekking trip on the rather challenging and steep trails leading to the famous Phraya Nakhon Cave. A less demanding option is to go by small motor boats near the shore to a point almost half way to the cave. The bicycle trip (10 km) back and forth took 1.5-2 hours and the trekking likewise, and due to the heat it was a rather exhausting trip bu definitely rewarding. Recommend to do the trip early in the morning when the heat is less intense. The third day we booked two trips with the Green Resort's driver: First to the very beautiful freshwater marshland/swamps where we went on a 1.5 hour's boat trip to watch the birds and lotus flowers. Half way we stopped at the boardwalk with a watch tower to get a "bird's view" of the marshland. Highly recommended! The afternoon trip was to Kui Buri national park where we went on an almost 3 hours long trip on a jeep. We spotted only 2 elephants but several herds of wild Gaura cows (looks a bit like wildebeast). All in all we are very happy with our stay at the Green Beach Resort and the Khao Sam Roi Yot region and would definitely consider returning here some day! Some of the servants did not speak much English.

Its quiet and spacious, you get quickly to the beach. The power went out at night for a few hours so the AC stopped working and it got really hot. Also, there was a gecko in the room which hid behind the painting on the wall and we couldnt get it out.
