Toledo Inn

Very nice property, beds were a little harder than we like but normal for Asia. Our room could have used a cost of paint but otherwise comfortable. The staff is amazing, they really provide excellent customer service. Close to town and location for ferry and water sport pick up/drop off was perfect. Pool and chill areas was nice. Beach needs some work, and don’t allow locals to fish at the resort. It was very sad to see them catch the beautiful blue fish just for sport.

the resort is large and i never expected that our rooms is far from the beach and main lobby. however, thinking back, it is just ok. it is us who go for cheaper options.

The location and the outdoor facilities are good and clean Waiting staff are very friendly Hotel rooms are not great. There’s only one electric socket which is used for the television. Bathroom door can not be closed. House keeping failed to top up/replace the soaps. Very limited offer on breakfast and the live music/karaoke from the hotel next door is too loud.

The food was delicious; I especially loved the special Nasi Goreng, Rissoles, and refreshing fresh orange juice. I was lucky to have a room with a lake view—absolutely stunning and serene. It added a peaceful charm to the whole experience. I would happily return and definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. While I personally had no issues, I do want to note that the path to the accommodation involves quite a few stairs, which could be challenging for guests with disabilities or limited mobility. There may be a ramp available, but I didn’t notice one during my stay.

The location on Lake Toba is great! It is also near restaurants in Tuktuk. The property is quite large and seems to cater to tour groups. The breakfast is pretty generous. The shower was never even lukewarm. The constant jet ski activity is pretty annoying. I’m not the hotel can do much about it. On the weekends be prepared for karaoke late into the night.

Beautiful lake views from the room. Staff are communicative and friendly. Rooms are clean with hot shower and air conditioning. Ferry picks up and drops off right in front of property. Daily breakfast buffet (7am to 9am) is simple but sufficient.

Very friendly and helpful staff. He provided very useful information for us like guided for transportation, extra pillows and boiler for us. The location is just few minutes to shops and restaurants. The room just in front of the lake. The garden is very beautiful and relaxing. Very good breakfast. I will come back again. A bit dirty in the garden. No wifi in room

This is what I did not like: Small buffet and Eggs were cold and the coffee had a lot of sugar in it and the milk also had a lot of sweetness. Some places offer both sweetened and unsweetened coffee which allows the guest to decide. Some people have diabetes. Restaurant had limited good options and no bar which is surprising for a place that size. We needed the restaurant to open at 7:00 am when we had to catch the water taxi at 7:30 to leave and they barely got us our coffee and breakfast after being there right at 7:00 and we had informed them we were checking out and paid up the night before causing some stress. This is what I did like. The views, the balcony on the room, the landscaping was beautiful and clean, the fish along the shore, customer service. they let us run a tab and use a credit card. We stayed 4 nights.

The view from our room was great. The breakfast was basic, not much variety. The bathrooms were very dated. Hot water took 5 minutes to come through.

1. The location is good. 2. The food is also okay, but that great but above average. 3. The staff, their hospitality is great. They really tried their best to serve. I really appreciate it. I rarely gave a bad review. But I think I need to be transparent for this, 1. No kettle or any water dispenser for hot drink water. 2. No iron and iron board. If need to use it, need to go to lobby which is not convenient if you get a room thats far behind. 3. I saw few cockroach under my bed. Which gave me anxiety to sleep. Haha 4. The bathroom, huhh I don't want to mention. HAHA 5. No air-cond. Its fine with the weather there. But bear in mind that its not thattt cold there. If you used to "cold" ac, maybe this is not for you. You can have AC in your room but need to upgrade to better room. 6. Only 1 point plug to use. And its actually for TV, I use it to charge my phone. 7. For muslim, your choice of food may be very limited. Warung yes, but no Halal Cafe or halal place for music band. Honestly, I wont recommend and won't coming again. I really hope the management improve everything. I'm looking forward to visit again if its already improved.
