Super nice staff Isolation

The pool area was so relaxing, the staff was so friendly and welcoming and I loved the small restaurant downstairs was super convenient for lunch or dinner and having an iced coffee or matcha by the pool in the afternoons was just perfect for me. Perfect stay no complaints at all

Lovely ‘family’ ambiance. Plenty of kind staff and on-site ‘family-owned’ establishment. Owners are English speaking and are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delightfully well done and everything is clean, quiet and orderly. There is even a (posted) early taxi service available to the airport. Great on-site laundry service too! Can’t say one bad thing about my one week stay.

Super friendly, family managed hotel. Great way to support local Thai businesses. Hotel very clean. Walking distance to train station, stores, restaurants, laundry.

Spacious room, friendly staff. We had a great time becoming wrinkly sponges in the hot tub. Otteri laundry (30+50 baht) and 7-eleven around the corner. Si Barring on the yellow line is a short walk away (8-10 mins). Wi-Fi speeds are variable but will usually hit 40-60 mbit down / 40 mbit up. It's on a 2.4 Ghz mesh network so don't expect to do any low-latency calls or video conferencing. Toilet was in the middle of the room, basically just a divider with a toilet installed inside. No seperate ventilation for the toilet. I hope you're very, very comfortable with your partner when staying here (suite), haha. Housekeeping took away the little hand towels but didn't replace them, didn't refill the toilet paper and didn't clean the trash can in the toilet on one occasion, for whatever reason. For a retreat type accomodation, I would expect things like toilet paper, towels, shampoo, shower gels and all those kind of things to be abundant at all times. A small change like that would go a long way in terms of guest experience :-) The street doggos gang up on you at night and get fairly aggressive. I think the neighborhood needs to come together and make sure the dogs are vaccinated.

A very quirky property and very different to the normal, it is obviously quite old and could do with some upgrading but we were quite comfortable, do not expect more than you are paying for and it will suit. There are a number of items that could do with an upgrade but no real issues'

Second stay and got north pole room. I didn't know Thailand had such interesting hotels. Air conditioning was excellent

This is the most unique hotel you can ever be at and you can choose the room, they have the most clean rooms with a beautiful jacuzzi ? PLUS The owners are super nice and welcoming

Clean, great food, friendly staff

The staff was so kind to our family,really felt like home. The on-site restaurant had nice meals at reasonable prices. The pool area has such a nice boutique ambiance and felt so relaxing. Just a 5 minute walk away, there's Peanut coffee for great lattes,a 7-11,Lotus,Otteri laundry, and the best homemade Indian restaurant called Akbar Dhaba that I highly recommend. We booked a few nights and then booked longer because it was so nice. Great for families. A lamp would be nice for the evening time. Some of the overhead lighting was flickering in the room. Some storage or more countertop in the bathroom would be nice. And brighter lighting in the bathroom for women to apply makeup. Beds were pretty stiff for Western standards.

Our stay at tha thongtara house was the best! When we arrived we where greeted by sidd an sai. The helped us with our luggage and gave the room. Due to my handicap its difficult for me to stand up in a shower, so when i asked if there was a possibility to change rooms with a bath tub, the owners helped us to swap rooms. We were treated like kings there, the pool is clean and the staff is super friendly, nothing is to much. We would recommend anyone to book this hotel when you visit Bangkok. The location is just outside of the city center but we preferred this. Its the best hotel price quality. Thank you sai and sidd for the great service and you're kindness. Ps, when you need advice for places to visit and food. They know the best places

The staff are lovely and will help you in anything they can only bad point was the cockerel was so loud from 5am, it made it impossible to sleep on a morning

Everything was great the staff the connectivity with the Bts station which is a 10 minute The staff is well versed in english which is really helpful.They helped us plan out the day and the night Market suggested by them was wonderful and also very budget friendly definitely recommend.A complementary tuk tuk was provided during our checkout this was very appreciated.The bar and live music is also available. It is a bit far from the centre however if one wishes a bit of quiet and budget friendly hotel then definitely should book.The staff the rooms and service are extremely good.

The staff is like a family The mosquitos in the room. Maybe better to check it before the next customer arrives..the mosquitos hiding under the bed, curtains or toilet. Recommend to put a plug in mosquito repellant equipment on dak areas. Thank you we will definitely be back.
