In a nice remote spot for exploring, diving and of course watching the best sunsets. The only thing it a little far away but in this zone you can find more local food and be away from the tourists.

The staff was amazing, we were met by Marley, who's the owner of the place, she helped us with tips and stories about the island, this hotel is right in front of the best scuba diving spot in San Andres, i'd highly recommend staying here, the island is small enough, you can move by renting a bike or a buggy

I’m on the taller side (~1.88m) and the beds were slightly short for me, since the foot area has an edge. Otherwise, great!
-
Peaceful location in the south of the island Friendly staff Big room Nice Breakfast It would be important to have a bottle of water everyday in the room since there is no drinkable tap water. As for now, guests needs to pay for it at the reception.

The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed the food and service provided. If you like seclusion and getting away then this is the place for you! I thought during booking it was across from the beach, but it was across from the sea. It was about 30 minutes to the downtown area for the main beach.

Situated at a quiet spot along the west side of Isla San Andres, with a swim ladder and a great snorkeling spot right next door across the street. Good restaurant and friendly staff included. Wonderful views. Spacious room with good hot shower. Be aware taxis from the airport charge 60000 pesos, while you can take the safe and good local bus for only 4000 pesos per person.

The hotel is in the south end of the island and very chill if you want to relax instead of partying. it’s right across for the ocean with a great restaurant, pool, dive school, and amazing staff! The beds were a bit hard, but after being in the sun all day it didn’t matter lol you always sleep well in San Andres

Very friendly family run hotel. Staff very accommodating. Its in a much more peaceful part of the island away from the crowds on the eastern side, but the local bus runs right past the door every 30 mins so getting around is easy. Snorkelling right across the road in some of the clearest water I've seen. We were never really inconvenienced by the pool being used by the the dive school as they are out most of the day. Prices for food/drink very reasonable. Some parts look in need of a bit of TLC but after the ravages of Covid I thnk that can be forgiven.

Good place, nice attention, nice staff, good food. Recomended.

Relaxed and friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly service. The location was perfect for Scuba, exploring the island by walking, cycling and with a “buggy” . The family running the place have kept it in very good condition. They also helped us to sort out any problems.

Great location away from the busier East Coast and town and buses to get around the island are regular outside the door. It was great to be able to walk 20m and jump in the Caribbean with noone around. Gabriel was an excellent host! Thanks again mate. Soundproofing of rooms need to be done. It's an easy fix, give me a shout Gabriel and I'll send u a drawing , its what I do!

The sliding door took a little piddling but it worked fine after that. There was no hair dryer or hot pot for coffee but on the upside the balcony looked right over the Caribbean and the room was clean and comfortable

the location is perfect.

The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was wonderfully quiet there, with a beautiful view of the sea right across the street. The sunsets are outstanding. The homecooked food was amazing and was available throughout the day until 8pm. My favourite was the salad with fried fish, you should absolutely try it. A dive shop was right on sight too and I managed to get my advanced certificate in 2 days, they were very flexible and accommodating as well. Amazing reef quality on dive sights right by the hotel. I was very pleased to have chosen Sunset hotel to finish off my trip to Colombia. Nada :)

Beautifully maintained garden,,staff very friendly and helpful, rooms wide, comfortable and clean, diving company on site, sea across the road on West coast, swimming pool. Tiles falling apart in the pool can be a hasard, two of the guests got minor cuts .

Lovely little family run diving resort, staff were super friendly and helpful, the room was basic but clean, location is quiet end of the island which is lovely but some way from the town for evening meals, that said, the restaurant beers, wine and food prices were super competitive so we didn't feel we were a captive audience or being ripped off. The ladder into the sea allowed us to experience snorkelling on this side of the island without having to go to the touristy 'La Piscina' type places. The hotel arranged a moped for a few days which was a reasonable price and well organised. The best bit about this place is the immaculately clean swimming pool and sunbeds, just what you need after a month backpacking across Colombia. Wifi in room was mediocre which was not what we had experienced elsewhere on the island. Rooms are starting to look a little tired and the bathroom is probably ready for a proper refit as shower screen was sticking and looks dated. Our room smelt incredibly musty on arrival which was unpleasant only for the first 12 hours, however, once we aired the room out with the door and bathroom window open, this went and didn't return in the following three days indicating this experience could have been avoided had our room been aired before our arrival. Breakfast is served from 8am as staff arrive at this time. We needed to leave at 8am for a flight but there was no earlier breakfast option other than to take a sandwich to our room the night before which didn't really appeal. I guess demand (or lack of) probably dictates a better solution to this. Hot water only if you are lucky or shower in the afternoon before the divers return from their dives
