It was perfect, the location so close to the main beach, the room, the garden and the safety

Perfect spot to stay on San Andres, its like home away from home. A green oasis in the middle of San Andres main town. Room is comfortable and was cleaned daily. Walking distance to beach and a huge grocery store right across the street. Bernard and his wife are lovely, welcoming people. I highly recommend staying here. Cold shower, but knew this is common on the island. The kitchen is shared, except the owners cook, Marta, is always in the kitchen so it often felt very awkward trying to get kitchen space to cook. She is off duty around 5, so if you want to cook dinner, do so after that time. This is for information and did not detract from our stay or my rating.

What a fabulous home stay! It's a green oasis right off the main streets of San Andrés. Easy walking distance to the beaches, a big grocery store across the street. Bernard is friendly and helpful. Our room was great, clean, good space, a small fridge. We were also able to use the kitchen which sure helps when traveling for 4 months at a time. We loved it here. Highly recommend this Posada. Loved everything

Bernard and his family were amazing hosts. always helpful and kind. absolutely would stay here again. its close to the center and only 3 blocks from the beach. all resturants and the marina are within 4-5 min walk. there was really nothing to not like; great location, great hospitality, close to airport, close to beach, walked everywhere. was perfect. the only this is the shower did not have hot water. however your in the middle of the caribbean and its hot all the time.

Perfect stay if you prefer a private, calm and chill stay instead of big hotels. Bernard and his team were awesome. From the very first minute on, they made us feel at home in their very clean house with beautiful surroundings in the middle of San Andres Center. Excellent local recommendations and always helpful. Walkable to the airport and all beaches nearby. The perfect place and that's why we prolonged from 3 to 6 nights!

The owners took great care of me, giving me tips on where to gonon the island, letting me try different fruits from their lovely garden and just doing everything to make my stay memorable!

We recommend it for a budget minded traveler.

No notice when the staff cleaned my room without asking me first. No shampoo or body wash.

The hostess, her son, and the housekeeper were very accommodating and helpful. We were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The room was cleaned daily, and we were allowed to use the kitchen. The accommodation is very well equipped, clean, and cozy. We really enjoyed the entire stay. A big thank you to the warm and attentive care of the hostess. We would recommend it to anyone planning to visit San Andres. The value for money is unbeatable. .

I really like the place, the posada has a lovely garden and my room had a hammock outside. The owners were very welcoming, they always gave me coffee in the mornings and gave me suggestions on what to do. I worked for a few days and the Internet worked great.. however keep in mind it is an island and it can fail sometimes. The posada was right in the center, 10 min walk from the beach and another 10 to the marinas. There are a few local and cheap restaurants around as well. Internet didn't really get to my room most of the time.

We loved Posada Nativa Bernard Place. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable - large bed, good wifi, cool A/C. When you step through the gate into the courtyard area, all the street noise melts away and it's quiet, cool and peaceful. I loved sitting out there for hours reading and petting the friendly dog and cat. I really appreciated the complimentary water too, given that water on the island is not potable. The hosts also helped us get taxis and find a good snorkeling spot. Apparently there was laundry service available for clothing too. I could not recommend this place more - it's a peaceful oasis and a way to spend your money on local residents rather than foreign hotel chains! Can't think of anything!

Clean I booked a room with a double bed for two people, the day after I arrived my girlfriend joined me and they demanded more money for that, as if I only paid for half a bed, it doesn't make sense at all

The place is amazing! First of all, the people (Bernard, Ilse, Melanie and Marta) are so helpful and loveable, and care so much for the environment. The place has very good facilities with outside shower, room with a comfortable bed and a good air conditioner. The room was always clean (which for me is a huge thing). Also, the green area and their pets are a plus! I highly recommend this place. I had a great experience and they were part of it. No complaints

Mr. Bernard, family and staff couldn't be more helpful and kind ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Excellent location, quiet and very warm. Even though we're not fond of air-conditioning, it worked well with the fan and kept the cozy room comfortable. Bed was comfortable, excellent water pressure and very clean. Definate value for money. The water could have been a little warmer, but common for the island.

The hosts are a lovely couple who welcomed us warmly. There is a small set of rules, but we discussed it over a cocoloco kindly offered to us upon arrival. As this is the host's living place (a large house with annexes and garden), they keep it super clean and tidy. Aircon worked well, wifi and TV too. Shower and bathroom were clean and fully functioning, though there is only cold (cool) water (hot water is not needed on the coast as it is really hot). The housekeeping ladies were lovely to us, special mention to them! The location is a 5 mins walk from the downtown seafront and 10 to 15 mins walking from the airport (the island is really small). There's shops and restaurants around but the house is quiet and we could sleep well. all good
