The property is old but clean. The shower was poor and too hot - the cold water could not keep the shower from getting too hot. There was no room service ( we were there 3 nights) - the electricity for charging my iPhone and I watch did not work and the tv control in the living room didn’t work. The grounds and the staff are nice - the check out is 10:00 1 hour too early - the restaurant ( only 1) is not good - overall over priced for what you get.

Great staff. Serenity was very helpful and will definitely be coming back.

We had a great trip to the Hyatt Vacation Club at Wild Oak. It’s still a timeshare property so you will be invited to a presentation on buying in but was not a requirent. Pool/water slides were a big hit with the kids. Food on site was fine, and very convenient. We got to enjoy the outdoor movie night at the pool as well. Hotel suite layout was ideal for families - plenty of space and privacy.

Room itself was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice however catered towards kids as it did not get deeper than 4 foot. The property itself does need more signs to direct people on where to go. They give you a giant map but it can be overwhelming as it is a large area. You are given two paper cards to exchange for pool towels and must turn them in or else charged with a fee. This was the first time I’ve ever had to do that, so it seemed kind of excessive as sometimes one towel for a full day of swimming isn’t enough.

The amenities are made the stay amazing. Kids loved the pool and lazy river! The rooms were nothing to write home about. Definitely need some renovation and updating. Lots of water damage evidenced in our rooms/ smelled of smoke. The main bathroom layout was interesting. The shower needed some serious renovation and looked like it was original. The master toilet wouldn’t flush without needing to be plunged. I think you could have done without with the jet tub and just done a larger updated shower and toilet.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the property. The room was nice, and the staff was very helpful and friendly. My only wish is that there was better handicap accessibility to the pool and lazy river. One of the staff members was kind enough to drive us in a golf cart from our room to the sidewalk, which we really appreciated, but we still had quite a distance to walk from there. Traveling with someone who uses a walker made that part difficult. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again, but improved accessibility to the pool area would make the experience even better for guests with mobility challenges.

The resort was beautiful. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Pool was a lot of fun for the kids. Only 20 min from most of the major attractions in San Antonio. Seaworld was only 5 minutes away.

Place was beautiful and well kept, our room was definitely worth the upgrade. Loved the lazy river, property was well lit at night. JB’s was nice to have on site for food, close to anything you needed and Lackland AFB. We had a two room suite and was just awesome for our family. Would definitely recommend

I enjoyed the wildlife. My grandkids were too young to participate and some of the activities. Nice place.

Great location, very nice resort with many amenities.

We stayed in the 2 room villa and it was perfect! It was incredibly family friendly, we all enjoyed it and will be returning soon!

Asked for pull out couch to be set up for our late arrival, and it was not.Tried to call the front desk to ask for help, and the room phone was out of order.... Had to relocate a giant wolf spider out of the room myself, very disturbing thing to do right before trying to lay down. Coffee maker did not work, no bottled water was provided at any time, and by our last day the body wash and conditioner bottles were empty..... Never did find the ice machine as there were no directions other than it's on the 1st floor! For what we paid, plus the additional resort fees they collected for each day I expected allot more. We would have been better off in a regular hotel and taking a day pass to fiesta Texas for what we ended up paying on resort fees above and beyond the fully paid reservation! The staff was very kind but it felt like so many other current events, like the wealthy Hyatt was just nickel and diming us all the way around, providing subpar experience and sleeping arrangements, while they make money hand over fist. Nothing like checking in at 10pm the first day and out at 10am on the final day and still having to pay resort fees for 2 days that weren't even used. And be prepared for them to try to take your time for a time share experience........ Very disappointed.
