Motel 6 San Antonio, TX – I-35 North Corridor

Mold infested room, dirty sheets and floor.

Not very pleased, I have to say the front desk staff was pleasant to deal with but were not willing or able to offer any help.. 1st there were roaches in the room, especially under the microwave, as well as other dead ones.. My biggest issue was that the tv did not work, I called the first night n the young man from the front desk came with his"matter termite" to no avail, he said he would probably stop by later to check it and that did not happen, 2nd day was no better as I called the front desk to remind them and told them there was something on tv that I would really like to watch that night, so they sent over their mmaintenance guy , he starts pushing buttons and says he just fixed this one a few days ago and that someone must be messing with the settings, slaps his hand on the counter, obviously frustrated and tells me it's not going to work and leaves. So I walk back to the front desk and asked the young lady what her plan was and she tells me there are no other rooms available and there was nothing she could do..I asked her if they could at least offer me a small discount to which she said that it wasn't possible because it was a reservation(?).. She said maybe I'm my next visit, as if i would ever stay there again.. Drunks and homeless walking around late at night also made for a restless night.. All this after burying my late niece on Friday was too much, normally I just don't go back and don't write reviews but I felt i had to save someone from these situations

Well I can't say I like a lot because I told the front desk that the refrigerator kept leaking and the microwave did not work I plug the microwave in 2 different plugs and none of them did not work neither the microwave Telling the staff about the microwave and nothing was done.If I own a hotel I'm going to make sure the room is properly/ well put together studio 6 did not do that

Renovated rooms, cold beverage vending added. New 4k tvs in rooms, had issue with TV screen reading featured turned, staff fixed issue in a few minutes. Reduced construction in area, much quieter. Security doors fixed, key card required after hours, new parking lot surveillance and lights. After hours staff hired. A great improvement.

Do not do the check in early, they will argue with you that you didn't pay the extra fee through Expedia and won't honor it. Room was clean for the most part, but there was mold in the bathroom and cigarette burns on the quilt. AC, fridge and microwave worked well.

We have been here for a few months now and we have no problems its ver quite here and the staff is nice
