Hotel Jovel

The hotel is just a couple of minutes walk from the main plaza area, which is very convenient

The room is modest and the location is great. We ended up having to go to the doctor because we were bitten by fleas or bedbugs. My friend got the worst part and had to take medication against the pain and swollen skin. Overall the customer service was always meh and they didn't even followed up knowing my friend had to go to the dermatologist. Extremely needed for these places to be clean and careful with these matters. We were left with a very bad experience.

The rooms are spacious and clean. The pillows are made up of hard cotton balls. The elevator has been in maintenance since i got here and no one seems to be working on it. And my room is on the 3rd floor. The staircase definitely needs upgrading. The entrance and the minuscule lobby entrance makes it feel like I was entering a dingy hotel - i was actually shocked. They only show the rooms on Expedia. There is no other facility in this ‘hotel’ but for the room.

The rooms are rather cold, and you can easily hear other guests and staff near by in your room so if your a light sleeper you may want to bring earplugs or play white noise your your phone.

The property was charming, the garden very nice. I liked the location The bathroom was very small. While the housekeeping was good, I do not require a clean towel and sheets every day. The cable tv in my room didn’t work(although it didn’t matter to me)

Beautiful place, comfortable rooms. Amazing terrace with view of the mountains. We loved it

Room 410 the toilet did not work, we got moved to room 420 and the water pressure was low so it was uncomfortable to shower and room 490 the shower was leaking so the bathroom was always flood and the door was too big for the bathroom so hard to fit in the bathroom with the open door.

The staff were super helpful and friendly even though they spoke little English. The room was cozy and spacious enough. We enjoyed the birds who were chirping in their beautiful garden. It was convenient to walk around and enjoy the town since all the attractions and great restaurants were close by. Nothing.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. We could do an early check-in after a long bus ride and leave our bags until late in the evening to catch another night bus. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and the blankets warm enough (there were even more in a wardrobe in case we were cold). Towels and bathroom were good, hot water and hair dryer (didn't use it though). The location was great. There was Water to refill our bottles. Highly recommended! Thanks! The wifi was sometimes very slow or not working for a short moment.

Nice place. Not expensive. Quiet. Near the plaza. Great view. No drinking water.

The hotel has a lovely interior and garden. It serves good breakfast. Staff is very friendly. It is located in the historical heart of the town. The shower had little water.

Wonderful garden Close to interest areas The hotel did not accept payment in card, only efectivos - which was an inconvenience. The reception staff did not speak English
