Boardwalk Hotel: Bikes, Boards & Beach Gear Included

I stayed four nights on a solo trip and couldn’t have been happier with the hotel and location. I was initially concerned that it would be busy and loud being so close to the beach and the bay, but the loudest things were the seagulls lol

Excellent stay. Did ask for a new lightbulb but it never arrived one thing I would suggest is having a broom of some kind in the room to help sweep up sand. Otherwise excellent location and access to rentals. Great space for our family

The Boardwalk hotel was all we could ever want for a truly relaxing vacation. One block to the bay in a direction and one block to the ocean the other. The access to free equipment including chairs, SUP’s, bikes, and boogie boards was awesome and provided great fun. I highly recommend this unique, funky, and fun hotel. One of a kind!

The location is exactly 1 (very small) block from the beach and bay each way and the included beach gear and bike rentals were the icing on the cake. It's right in the middle of some smaller, cute restaurants/bars, stores, boutiques and markets. We had such a great time, my 15 daughter (hard to impress) fell in love and keeps asking when we'll be going back. Thanks for the experience and memories!

Was decorated nicely and super clean. Beds were comfy and the smart toilet was a great amenity! Employees responded immediately when we had questions or needs. We would stay here again!

Great room. Comfortable, cozy, has everything you need for a stay. Awesome little patio and sauna.

I loved that it was close to so many things the only complaint was that when we arrived the floors of our room were really sandy everything else was great

The management team was outstanding. They were very responsive, attentive, and quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay. We did experience a minor maintenance issue, but it was handled promptly and professionally, which we really appreciated. Another great perk was the rental options available. Being able to conveniently rent anything we needed made our vacation even more enjoyable and stress-free. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend staying at the Boardwalk Hotel!

The location

The walk to the beach is about 2-3 mins. Slightly shorter to the bay. Bathroom is a tad cozy but nicely done and water pressure so-so from a rain shower. Fancy toilet—not my jam but bidet away, folks! Two TVs was nice (we had a king studio). AC good. Street noise was a bit much for noise sensitive people, if your room is in the front—that’s actually a busy street because it connects to the park. Close your window at night! We had an issue with a neighboring room’s smoke detector which was very annoying (low battery beeping every minute x a couple of hours x 2 days) and getting help was a bit of a chore for that. With everyone headed to the beach, a broom/dustpan in each room (sand!!!) and perhaps a place to hang wet stuff outside would have been nice. Outside shower is great for rinsing off. Overall a very nice place to stay. Also, go to Olives’s Cafe for breakfast!! Absolutely delicious.
