Room was clean and the staff was nice. Only there one night

Loved the area. Easy to get around. Lots of nice restaurants in the vicinity you could easily walk to. Nice outdoor pool and seating area. Staff were great.

Our flight wasn't until the evening and they let us put all our bags in the backroom where they kept everything save - it was a lot of bags because two of my sons graduated from the Marines and they had all their belongings with. That was such a relief that we could spend one more day in San Diego without having to worry about our luggage!!

Everything about this place was nice. Told us we can possibly check in early but ended up getting in @4:00. But was able to use the pool. We will be back!

Location; staff Room was damp and musty smelling; elevator needs a little retrofit (slow and bumpy); room AC made huge “kerchunck” noises when it would kick on.

I wish that Kuerig wasn't used for tea and coffee because of the plastic generated but otherwise everything was excellent. The location is also excellent. I didn't have a paddleboard with me but one can access water just across the street from a park. There's also a path for walking or jogging. I will return and highly recommend the hotel.

My wife and I come here every year! We love the staff, the grounds and location!

other guests lacked respect and courtesy towards their fellow travelers. a family barbecued on the grass outside the pool and played music loudly. When they brought the speaker inside the pool area, I asked them to turn it down. Oddly, the man acted as if I was the one in the wrong. I did not involve the hotel staff.

Great place, beautiful area and walking distance to lots of stuff. The staff was wonderful and friendly.

Staff was accommodating and super friendly, centrally located beds where extremely comfortable

Booking.com lied, did not sleep guests, did not have balcony, breakfast not included. I paid extra for 5 guests and upgraded room i didn't get! Will probably not use this website again.

Was disappointed that this hotel doesn’t actually offer coffee & tea “in the common areas.” Instead they want you to purchase through the Starbucks or restaurant, mind you Starbucks closes very early in the day. Also, no AC in the room on our second night … not even a comp of a water was offered to us upon checkout for the inconvenience! Parking fee is ridiculous! We stayed in so many smaller boutique type hotels during our stay down the coastline and this Marriott was our least favorite and least accommodating. So disappointed. Will stick with smaller hotels in the future that appreciate customers and not trying to nickel & dime.
