Reviews

Hotel was clean and allowed us to check in once the room was ready. The room was new and amenities were good. The hotel provided benefits for the resort fee. It was close to downtown attractions
-
The shower floor and shower head had mildew
-
I wish that there where more amenities can you please put a microwave in the rooms

The room was pretty clean I had asked on hotels.com for a queen bed but was told on check in that it wasn’t available. I prefer the queen rooms because there’s usually more space around the bed. We did have to get a new remote for the tv. We didn’t use the amenities offered so I can’t comment on that. If they offered free breakfast I would have probably given this a 5.

Great location for events at Petco, to access trains/trolleys, and to walk to the water. Social hour and the pool was a great perk after sight seeing all day!

Absolutely overall great stay, everything was fantastic

Our room was a unique shape - we joked that it was an after thought room. It was spacious and well designed. The bed was very comfortable. You could walk to the Navy ship, food, shops, ... Free shuttle from the airport. Our driver Steve was great. I would stay here again. A bit too expensive. Water should be complimentary.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Westin Plaza because my late Uncle worked there, and staying at the hotel brings back memories of him. However, this recent stay didn’t meet my expectations. We were placed in a corner room, and it was my first time experiencing that layout. Unfortunately, I didn’t like it. The space felt tight, and the drop ceiling made the room feel even smaller—almost claustrophobic. The water pressure was very weak, and the temperature was extremely hot with no option to adjust it to a normal level. For the price I paid—$305 for an overnight stay—I don’t feel it was worth it. On-site parking is over $60, which I chose not to take. The towels also seemed worn and cheap, which added to the disappointment. Overall, the stay didn’t match the value of the price, and I’m sorry to say it fell short of my expectations.
