Clean room, very responsive and professional staff. The breakfast is just coffee, pastries, juices and yogurt. Some proteins like eggs and bacon would be a great addition. I was hoping that since I got water side and king size bed it be a couples room with double sinks but it was only one sink. And room was small, to be expected in San Francisco I guess. Overall a 4-star hotel.

Great stay, good location, kind staff

Location, lobby, the views and the restaurant downstairs. Our room was relatively small.

Breakfast was disappointing, but the hotel was very clean. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the photos online. The location is convenient, and overall it’s a good choice for a short stay. There was an unpleasant smell coming from the Bay, which was quite noticeable. Street parking can also be difficult, especially if you’re visiting during the week( we were there on a Saturday which made street parking work). Valet parking is available, but it costs $70 per night.

Small space but very efficient. We stayed twice. However, the second time, our room didn’t have a chair. The table was so tiny it couldn’t accommodate my travel makeup mirror/makeup in order to get ready for the day. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was very nice & although we didn’t partake, wine happy hour was a nice perk.

Door man was super nice. Parking across the street was super easy. Location was great being right next to Fairy Landing. Room we were given has one very small window almost behind a cabinet, that opened to maybe an alley with no airflow. AC didn't work. Staff was apathetic. They can do better.

I had a very good stay overall. The location is excellent, with many attractions within walking distance, including the cable cars and the waterfront. Pier 39 is also reachable on foot if you don’t mind a longer walk. The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and, if I return to San Francisco, I would happily stay here again. Breakfast was probably the weakest point for me. It is a typical American-style hotel breakfast, served on paper plates and with disposable cups. If you are used to European hotel breakfasts, it feels more like a light snack than a proper breakfast. Still, I appreciated that breakfast was available and that I could grab something before going out. The only other issue was the shower. After using it, quite a lot of water collected on the bathroom floor, leaving most of the bathroom wet. The water eventually dried, but it was inconvenient and could potentially be a safety concern, especially for children or elderly guests. I reported this issue to the hotel.

Carlos at the front desk was especially friendly and helpful and made the experience even better. There are also several great restaurants right next to the hotel, which makes the location even more convenient. Overall, a really enjoyable stay with lots of character. Would definitely recommend!

Very nice and retro style hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Has a morning coffee bar with muffins and a happy hour in the evening. Great location by the water and easy walking to Oracle stadium and other attractions. Very clean room with good space. Overall a lovely property, would stay here again.
