The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I was not aware that the toilet and shower are in the hall, not in the room itself!

Great stay at Hayes Valley Inn! The location was absolutely perfect - easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. Would definitely stay here again!

Advertised as having parking, but it does not. Have to spend $45 for 24 hours of parking. Electronic key did not work. Can find a WAY better deal at the price point. No bathrooms in unit.

I had to give this a low rating because of the poor check-in procedure. They never texted me the code to get into my room. They did not respond to phone message nor emails or text. The key to any hotel is the ability to enter. If you can’t enter your room, it doesn’t do you much good. Cannot recommend because of the bad check-in procedure.

Great location. Spacious room. Easy check-in.

Nice maids. Silly electronic key system. The maid had to give me a door key.

One thing to watch out for: there is no front desk. You need an app to get into your room, and you should receive your check-in information before you arrive. Mine never came, and I had to make several phone calls before the problem was fixed. Also, make sure you ask for the separate code to unlock the front door. If you don't have it, you could end up locked out late at night.

Amazing location. The room and the shared bathroom/WC was clean at all times and well appointed. The shared kitchen\dining was bright, spacious, sufficient seating and I really enjoyed the view from there of the bustling street below. The kitchen could have been better equipped - Freshly brewed coffee would have been nice. There were also no knives or scissors provided. Either a hob or an oven would have helped to bake a frozen pizza. Once the openkey app did not function and had to be reset but the housekeeping staff was nearby to quickly resolve the problem.

The location The scavenger hunt with getting into the room. I'm too old for a reverse escape room.

Beautiful property in a fantastic location. Just be prepared - it's not like other hotels, so be sure to read the details.
