clean & easy to access. no complaints!

It was clean, free (but limited) parking in a safe quiet area. Daily housekeeping. A little bit far from everything. You can hear everything through the walls.

The owners (I assume, the people working the check in office) were very friendly and thoughtful - there were a couple things that he said/did that made me feel like he went out of his way to be considerate and helpful and I really appreciated that. Not the fanciest place, a bit old and run-down, but clean and comfortable. The toilet barely flushed and there was no water pressure, but that could just be SF, I’m not sure, this was my first visit. I was a little nervous about the number of signs in the parking lot and office that warned “don’t leave valuables in car”, it made me worry that it might not have been very safe, but it was probably more for liability protection, as I never felt unsafe. I would have stayed another night, had the Thursday night price been more reasonable.

This is a great option for those looking to economize when staying in SFO. Golden Inn was in a great location, walking distance to the Presidio and many restaurants. The check-in was easy and the gentleman who checked us in was kind and helpful, as was the woman who we met as we were checking out. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We arrived too late to park on premises, but got a parking spot directly across the street. Bonus: we heard clattering from a restaurant that shared a side/back wall with the property, which compelled us to discover who was making the happy commotion ( not bothersome). It was Le Bistro, and we had one of our favorite meals of our entire trip there. Highly recommend their brunch!!

Buen hotel , pero debes tomar en cuenta que hay poco espacio en el parking , si llegas noche al hotel deberas buscar un parking en la calle

Walls are thin and just the person walking above you sounds like they are having a party. Onsite self parking was first come first serve access to 1 of the 7 parking spots. Overall for the price you can't beat it if you just need to stay overnight in the city overnight and don't want to spend a fortune. $130 for the night, taxes and fees included. There is a really good pizza place a block away. $9.99 for a slice of Cheese and a draft beer. Would stay a second time.

They have a filtered drinking water available in each room.

This hotel room had the very basics which is fine. The room wasn’t ready when I arrived. I had to wait an hour. And the room itself is in pretty rough shape. If you’re not into aesthetics, it’s good enough. I did ask to have a refrigerator in my room and a bathtub and both were available to me.

Decent stay for the time we were there. May not have appeared in good condition on outside but it was well kept on the inside.

Clean, also clean!!

The check-in process behind closed doors was rather awkward.

Very poor

It would benefit possibly having a small heating appliance in each of the rooms such as a microwave for those interested in reheating any food obtained. Other than that, the hosts were very kind and polite, and facility was good for the need.

Like the location and kind people but that property missing lot of stuff they can improve on which can boost their rates and values. fact that they make it look like they clean the room every day but only clean on the top only like make the bed which not good but alright fast and lazy way and just little wipe on sink I think. Because there was mess we made and in between bed which is still there after it look like they came in and cleaned the room.

We chose this motel because of the location. We used PresidioGo, free transportation to get where we needed to go. The room was small and dated, but comfortable. The manager was helpful and the room was clean and did the job, The price we paid was reasonable for what we got. It was quiet with little to no traffic noise. Other reviews are correct, you can’t make it completely dark, but it was dark enough to sleep.
