Lovely setting with gorgeous flowers and plantings. The rooms were a little tight. Do not bring a large car; the garages are extremely tight.

Very nice property with an authentic San Francisco feel.

It is in a very safe area in San Francisco. My daughter and I used Waymo exclusively on this trip. One of the perks of staying at the Marina Motel is being able to park your car for free inside; and usually that parking garage is right underneath your motel room. I would highly recommend this motel to any travelers to San Francisco, be it your very first time in the city or if you have lived or stayed at other places in San Francisco.

The front desk older man with long hair was very nice and helpful! The room was clean, and the kitchen was stocked well with kitchenware, utensils, and dishes. The fridge was very big as well. The courtyard was extremely beautiful and well maintained.

Very good location for the Presidio and Palace of Fine Arts, and views of the bridge! Prob the quieter side of San Francisco, we loved it!

I stayed in a courtyard/kitchen room, excellent location, very helpful staff (especially when I needed to store my luggage for a few hours after checkout.)

Pretty and stereotypically San Francisco aesthetic motel. Good area and great value

Good thing they have parking on site

Almost perfect location for sightseeing SF. Check-in was very quick, and the staff at reception was helpful. The room tiny but truly lovely. It was clean and quiet. Flowers, colorful plants and more colorful flowers and plants and more of them everywhere. Owners are awesome. The guy explained everything about amazing plants growing at the property. Wow! Respect man! We are your fans now :) We were affraid a little bit, but finally garage was large enough to accommodate big SUVs. In SF a safe parking slot seems to be a must. No Air-Condition, however nights in SF in May were cool enough to make us comfortable at night.

I really liked the hotel, especially the location. It was actually recommended by a friend, so I already had good expectations. The staff were very friendly and genuinely helpful. They were very accommodating throughout my stay. I requested in advance to have a room away from the road, but my room was still close to the road and I could hear everything... people talking near reception and the noise from outside. This was the biggest downside, especially because I had just come from a race and really needed proper rest. I also found socks under the bed, which made it seem like the room had not been vacuumed properly. The toilet bowl also had scratches or marks that made it look unclean. Would I stay here again? Definitely YES. I would just make sure to request a room away from the road next time and different ROOM. hahahhahahha

Such a gem! Please don’t change a thing!!! Attention to detail in rooms was evident in the bathroom remodel. The beds were super comfy, and the property was beautifully maintained. Covered free parking and a great price point. Literally nothing to add. Location was phenomenal.

I cannot believe I found this place in San Fran just across the Golden Gate. It has beautiful plants everywhere and they are very kind. Parking comes with the room. Rooms were clean and organized. Very nice stay. I wish I could have stayed longer. They have kitchens. If I ever stay in San Fran again this is my place!

The motel is quaint and cute; however, there was no laundry, no continental breakfast, and the parking is super inconvenient. The garages are tiny and if you get a room on the street side, you have to unload and try to safely get your car into the garage with traffic going by. There are no screens on the windows. There is also no AC. It's a cute, little place, but there are so many more convenient options (with parking lots) close by.

Perfect location, helpful lady at desk and comfy beds. Very quaint hotel with all the flowers!

Excellent location - close from Fisherman’s wharf and Marina district, Golden Gate Bridge, and other downtown tourist sites. Staff is super friendly and helpful. And the garden and flowers give it a unique picturesque look. Parking was ample and safe. Room was a bit cramped for a family of four.
