SF Plaza Hotel

“Very dirty and poorly maintained room. The bed sheets were dirty, and there was hair in the bathroom. It was very unpleasant and disappointing.”

Stayed 3 nights friendly staff and good location right by the entrance of Chinatown but the bathroom had hair on the floor and in the shower I told the staff and they had someone do a deep clean the next morning.

Its a historic building, so the rooms look really old. I did notice hairs like other people mentioned. No ac, but was okay due to weather. Noise from outside traffic.

There’s a public garage across the street for convenient parking. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very thin.

Loved the location, very close to the BART train and to the public transportation.

Location was good. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. It's an older building. Shower took a minute to get warm. But it wasn't bad.

My only problem with room was bathroom shower area there was a amount of black hair in grills ( my hair is gray) and one face towel had bad staining on

Very vintage and old but that’s what I like Only 6 channels on the smallest tv with basic cable and no microwave or ice or A/C and they charged me allot I would of rather paid an extra hundred to stay at the Hilton or Marriott

I don't mind broken down, paint peeling off the walls, etc. but when there is hair not only on the bed when I arrive, but on the bathroom floor - not just long hair but short curly hair (you get what I'm saying?) - that's pretty gross. All you have to do is clean and I'll be happy with pretty much anything. And yes paint was peeling off the walls but I still would have given it 5 stars for value if not for the cleanliness. If there was breakfast I missed wasn't aware of it.

Friendly staff Bad smell of room, dirty carpet, slow service providing plunger for toilet bowl, shampoo bot available when requested.

Great staff, great location, reasonable prices The rooms would benefit a lot from having some tea cups in them

Great stay overall- clean rooms, friendly staff a perfect location for getting around especially Chinatown.

Top rooms for the price. Can really only complain about the elevator. Elevator is very slow, but they have a bell cart so at least you don't have to carry your luggage up the stairs. Also no parking available.

This is a classic European style hotel. It is not shiny and new but that is part of the charm. It literally feels like you are in a small Paris hotel with all that entails. To further the feeling of Paris there are three excellent French bistros within a block. Yes it is also right next to the Chinatown gate. There are so many different cuisines and great restaurants in the area. Chinatown and “little Europe” all at the same hotel. Just don’t be disappointed when there are no 1200 thread count sheets. Food picture is from nearby restaurant.

Great location, walkable to the muni station, nice restaurants and shops around and the china town is right there
