The room could've been a bit cleaner. Breakfast was bare bones (bagel and cream cheese, cereal)

Easy street parking and walkability to Muni and Golden Gate Park. Check-in was a breeze with door code/wifi. The bed was comfortable with fresh sheets. The shower was clean with nice hot water and great pressure. Fridge, microwave, water, coffee/tea kettle in the room. The walls were a little thin but things were fairly quiet on a residential street and other guests were respectful. The room was extremely dusty which tells me it is not clean. My allergies/asthma were intense to say the least. Not expecting much given the price but the dust/uncleanliness was below my expectations. Comparing to a private hostel rooms and/or other 2-3-star accommodations in the city with far more amenities and cleanliness for the same value. Also I believe I read a review about "walk in closet" the closet in my room had things like fridge/microwave, trash can, though useful not walk-in. If its only a bed, shower, and easy access to the city, its fine, in a pinch.

Location great! Loved being in the sunset district! Not super clean. Also just so weird to share a bathroom and shower w strangers. I guess I didn’t fully understand what I’d signed up for.

The owner was very informative and attentive. When you walk in the home, there is a terrible smell. Up the stairs is 3 rooms, 1 toilet, 1 shower, and 2 sinks. Our room had 1 queen, and 2 twins (met our needs for 4 people). All guests from all 3 rooms have to share 1 toilet and 1 shower. Cleanliness not an issue, but you have a 10min time limit as to not make other guests wait too long. So, you have to do EVERYTHING in your room with very little space. Breakfast was provided which is a bagel, block of cream cheese, cereal, and juice everyday. The room has no toaster, but did have a mini fridge, microwave, and kettle. You have to eat on your bed, get ready on your bed, sit/sleep on your bed. There were 6-8 rugs on the floor...not sure if that was to protect the carpet, or hide stains. They were all curled on the edges and we kept tripping on them. It just did not meet my standards. The reviews led me to believe it was better than it was. Also, my mistake, I thought shared bathroom meant shared amongst our group, not all the guests. We made due, but I felt like it was way too expensive for what we got.

Location is great. A short walk to Golden Gate park and restaurants on 19th. Right on the Muni N line. The former house is awkwardly carved up into oddly appointed units. No common room or closets and the shared bathroom facilities are very small. The owners don't live there. Never saw anyone.

This accommodation was honestly just a little odd. The bathroom/toilet were not very clean and the sheets on the bed kind of reeked of patchouli.
-
Great value. Great location - one of the few hotel options near Golden Gate Park. Very comfortable beds. Easy check in/check out.
-
Bathroom set up. Toilet in separate room from the sink/shower, and both rooms are outside sleeping room. Bed frame was very squeaky
-
location and cameras for safety and an easy check in Kind of old looking and not pretty, but very practical. A bit dark overall

It says there’s parking but they’re in no dedicated parking. You have to park on the street and there is lots of car because it’s in a neighborhood with residential houses. I had to park two blocks away and carry all my stuff. The breakfast is just a couple bagels, some juice, and those little already made cereal bowls. Hope you like raisin brand though.

Location was great and the free breakfast in the morning was nice. Shower and towels were great. host was responsive There was no common area and the room was a little smaller then I thought it would be for 4 people. Breakfast was minimal

This place felt real cozy. It may be because I was with my friends but the stay was great, breakfast was so kind, beds were so comfortable, and area was nice and quiet.

Location, location, location. The primary reason for my stay here was it's walkability to the wedding I was attending at Golden Gate Park

It was last minute and I was stuck in San Francisco. So thankful to have found an opening at the Sunset Edwardian. It was exactly what I needed when I needed it. I was able to park on the street outside of the accommodation. I got there late and left early, but not before receiving a nice breakfast delivered to my room. It was a shared bathroom, so wasn't perfectly clean by the time I got there, late in the evening. I'm sure it is cleaned daily.

Close to where I was working The worst thing was that there was so much fabric softener smell on the bedding it made me sick.

The price, location, and the place was great! It was nice to get a breakfast every morning (and tailored to how many people were there at the time). It was also nice that it was a bed and breakfast, as my roommate was getting there before me, so no need to worry about how to check in. The location was great as there were many restaurants, markets, and even a Starbucks within a few blocks of walking (though I'm from Chicago, where it's flat, so not used to up and down hill). WiFi and Internet speeds were not bad! There is no air conditioning and the ceiling fan blows straight down. That might be a San Francisco thing, though, as my roommate and I are used to much cooler temperatures (50s is still t-shirt weather). After leaving the fan on for a few hours, it was much better for us.

Easy access thanks to clear directions. room was comfortable nice bed television with Netflix and refrigerator.. room could use a small lamp. All they have is a bright overhead light. breakfast was sufficient, although very minimal. just a bagel and some cereal. A piece of fruit would be a nice addition.. nice and quiet.

Place was really clean and the area was super convenient.
-
Very clean and safe, stores are within a walking distance, and the breakfast was complimentary, will be attended again

The location was great It’s in a safe neighborhood, and was walking distance to my niece’wedding in Golden Gate Park. The bathroom and shower are located in the hall, and you have to share them with two other rooms The place is very old and needs to be repainted and updated, and was somewhat run down. In addition, there is nowhere to store clothes. The closets are used for other purposes, and there is no furniture. If your’re the kind of traveler who doesn’t mind living out of your suitcase, then this place is fine, but if you like to put your clothes away, you can’t
