I went when I went in for my reservation. They ended up telling me that I could not stay there and that I was blacklisted. Which I didn’t have any idea about until now, but the thing is is if you’re gonna blacklist somebody or keep somebody from coming back to your property. You need to at least warn them first and then kick him out, but you guys never kicked me out nor did you warn me so therefore, you guys went against protocol and the right thing to do and you instead waited for me to leave the property as I thought I was checking out just so you guys can write my name in the book as blacklisted. I used to recommend this hotel 10 stars Punto about a couple months ago. It’s dropped down to one just like last year’s. Just please don’t make the same mistake as the chancellor did in December. Oh yes, and I paid for the.P for the insurance, which means once you pre-pay online you are guaranteed that room not this time. They didn’t help me out. They went ahead and reimburse me, but they wanted to overcharge me on my account which would have bankrupt it, and he kept arguing me over and over again this is Expedia by the way and wouldn’t help me until I mentioned look don’t you check my policy number I got the policy for insurance and I told him what it was and he literally stopped in his track and was like oh I’m so sorry you guys need to get it together.

Someone died (murdered?) in the lobby while we were out for breakfast, there was blood everywhere. Walls were paper thin and we could hear our neighbors all night. The elevator does not require keycard access to use, therefore anyone could access the rooms at any time for any reason. The toilet seat was not attached to the toilet and my partner almost fell in while using it. The waitstaff were reasonably kind, I understand that it was an eventful morning. Gym was dingy. There was a rubber glove covering the smoke detector. The Tenderloin and seemingly San Francisco generally is a pretty scary place, I would be more selective in where you choose to stay when visiting.

Pictures do not match this hotel. Feels more like a SRO than a hotel. Dirty elevators, unkept lobby, rude staff, dirty hallways, reeks of smoke, strange people walking around,

Unfortunately, the condition of the hotel itself was not what I expected based on the photos and description online. The room did not feel as clean or well-maintained as it should have been, and the heat in our room did not work. Maintenance came to check it and ultimately had to provide us with a space heater. This meant we couldn't comfortably leave the room and return to a warm space without waiting for the portable heater to warm it back up. The surrounding area was also a major concern for us. I was not prepared for the conditions immediately around the hotel, and I did not feel comfortable with the location, particularly as a visitor unfamiliar with the area. We ultimately decided to check out early rather than stay for the remainder of our reservation. Thankfully, management worked with us regarding the unused nights, which I appreciated. Overall, I can't recommend the hotel itself based on our experience with the cleanliness, heating issue, and location. However, I absolutely want to give credit to the staff because they were the bright spot of an otherwise disappointing stay.

My room was super clean and a great stay, they just need to keep the tweaked out. Making sure that they don’t even walk into the lobby

The pastry store next door. Upon check in the young girl at the front desk was rude and inattentive. She was on a FaceTime or live stream with people, made me feel uncomfortable giving my personal details. The room was tiny, and parts of the wall were falling apart. I understand an older building but I felt it was unacceptable to put a guest in a room with visable cracks in the wall. The lights randomly turned on throughout the night. The beds had one small very thin blanket and the pillows were terrible. My family didn't sleep that night and was very disappointed with our experience at the Tilden.

The bathroom was disguising. The sink would not drain had so much hair in it. When the sink drained slowly it would leak on the floor. The toilet would not flush all the way either. Ride the elevator at your own risk went down and the door would not open all the way the person at the desk had to let us out. Very noisy location.

The room exceeded my expectations. All my accommodations were met.

I honestly couldn't get out fast enough! First, the rooms are nothing like the pictures. The hotel is VERY old, which can be expected in SF, but is not what was presented. It is very cramped and outdated. The bathroom was literally a 4x3 closet, exposed pipes, teeny tiny sink. The elevator is the smallest I've ever seen in my life! There is minimal surface space. The front desk guy ways extremely judgmental and opinionated and made some off color comments about my son, among other things. There was an old radiator for heat, but it did not work, so the room was chilly and damp, the only climate control was a ceiling fan. And the neighborhood is definitely not for the feint of heart, or children! Parking was also difficult.

The area of SF is a little rough but you know what to expect when booking a hotel in this area, I never felt unsafe. The staff was amazing!! The manager whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch went over and beyond for us! Our room was clean and the beds were so comfortable Nothing! I had a great experience

The room is tight, you cannot easily enter or exit the bathroom, thats how tight the space is. The bathroom sink looks customized for that short place and when you sit ok the commode, sink is literally on your face. Although the staff cleaned the room the second day, not everything was replaced. The area itself was filled with homeless and addicts, the room had loud noise, since the neighboorhood had loud music on
