Good location, clean rooms. There are some homeless people around nearby, therefore be mindful, but they do leave you alone. Overall, it is a good hotel and fit our budget

Great place to stay.

The staff truly made this stay exceptional. Every employee we encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special thank you to Dhali, whose kindness and hospitality stood out. He greeted us with such warmth and even anticipated our family’s needs by bringing extra blankets for our children sleeping on the pull-out sofa before we had to ask. Those thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely cared for. The restaurant connected to the hotel was another highlight. It was beautiful, convenient, and a great place to relax without having to leave the property. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, bars, and shopping within easy walking distance. We were in town for the Giants game and enjoyed the approximately 30-minute walk to Oracle Park, which gave us the chance to take in the city. Excellent service, a beautiful and clean hotel, and an outstanding location made this an easy five-star stay. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting San Francisco.

Very nice hotel - super clean and the Italian restaurant was excellent. The neighborhood is terrible though - when I booked “Union Square” I was innocently unaware of how bad the neighborhood is with bums everywhere. No place to dine except in the hotel and luckily it was excellent. Didn’t even feel safe walking 3 blocks to my Tour bus pick up spot on Post St. Pictures and images of Union Square are way out of date and misleading!

Gorgeous property and great value

Great location, and quiet. A vintage and well maintained treasure.

The complimentary continental breakfast on our first morning was exceptional. The food was well served, and the service was outstanding. The bartender that evening was also very friendly and conversational. We ordered a coffee nightcap, and they went above and beyond to make it just right. The only downside was breakfast service the following morning. The waitress seemed pleasant at first, but after we mentioned that we were using the complimentary continental breakfast, her attitude changed. The service felt rushed, we weren't offered refills on our coffee, and the overall experience wasn't nearly as welcoming as the day before. Overall, we loved the hotel, its location, and the excellent service from most of the staff. Aside from that one breakfast experience, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.

Excellent customer service. Wish the bar stayed open later than 10pm.

Staff helped a lot especially Charles at the reception helped me find some missing packages and they brought all up in my room. Excellent customer service. The room is big and clean.
