Everything was very comfortable and clean. The owner is very nice :) and the room was for a very fair price.

The owner Luciano. Very accommodating, kind, helpful and systematic. I like the cotton towels provided, even wondered where I could get them. The bed was huge. No amenities like coffee, glassware/silverware.

Simply put, I am so grateful that I chose Santa Lucia for my stay in San Giovanni Rotondo! The Host was so helpful and kind in making my stay as comfortable as possible. The plus is that the location is very convenient, as it is located in the middle between the city center, where all the fun, restaurants, shops, and pizzerias etc, and social activities of San Giovanni Rotondo are and the Padre Pio Sanctuary. So I could walk to the Sanctuary by foot and to the city center very easily. Big plus was the bus from Foggia to San Giovanni Rotondo stops literally in front of Santa Lucia, so anyone taking a train from Rome or any other major cities can simply take a bus from Foggia train station bus stop and get off in front of Santa Lucia Door. Additionally, the bus stop to Monte Sant'Angelo and other major attractions, as well as cities such as Bari, is very close, making it very conveniently located. The bed was very comfy and the room and the common area were meticulously clean. The helpfulness and kindness of the host and everything at Santa Lucia were very practical and thoughtfully managed. The location is good. Infront of bus stop. Walkable going to sanctuary of padre pio.The staff is very friendly and approachable. He will tell about the places to go, the bus stop, the nearest market and restaurants. He will guide you where to take a bus if your going to somewhere.

The owner of the house was very gentle and always ready to help ..the location is good i think 500 meter from santuary padre pio .and dont miss the famous MONTE SAN ANGELO the place where micheal angel archangel appeared ..the bus station very near in hotel you can buy tiket in the bar going to monte then from monte or from foggia the bus stop infront of hotel...i recommend this hotel

We made a pilgrimage to San Giovanni Rotondo to visit Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie, known for St. Padre Pio. A perfect hostel to stay there is the "Santa Lucia". The Hostel is run by Luciano, he is very kind and helpful person. He knows the town and it's history as well, which is really great if you have some questions like what to visit, where to go. We stayed already here in this hostel in 2023 for 8 nights and this year in 2024 we stayed for 8 nights as well. If you travel like us by bus ? the hostel location is ideal next to a bus stop. The hostel is located along the street Viale Cappuccini, when you go up the street, you will eventually end up at the stairs to the Sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie. And if you go down the street just a few meters from the hostel you will find the center of the town, where you can find Banks, ATM's, grocery stores ?,cafe's and restaurants. The hostel itself is clean, safe and has everything you need to make it a pleasant stay. The price quality ratio is excellent. Greetings and till the next time, Helena & Marcin
