Great location! The property was clean and had a nice pool. The bed was hard. Very uncomfortable. Didn’t sleep well during my stay. Which is kind of the whole point of a hotel.

The location was everything! A short walk (like 2 minutes) to the beautiful San Pantaleo! Restaurants, market, live music--everything is right there. We liked our room as well and our balcony. Perfect cute little town this hotel is situated in. The staff and reception was not very nice or accomodating. Every time we had a question, it seemed like we were bothering them. They weren't very helpful either. We researched everything on our own. The TV in our room didn't work for the full time we were there. We asked them to fix it, and they said they did--but it was never fixed. They need some help with being friendly and accomodating to their paying guests! The bed wasn't comfortable at all, and the pillows were really bad!

The pool area was absolutely wonderful, such a gorgeous hotel. The restaurant and bedrooms were also brilliant! The hotel on Booking.com mentioned a mini market, but when we asked staff where it was, we were laughed at and told there isn’t one in the hotel. Only minor issue, but it made us feel a little uncomfortable. They should think about taking off the mention of mini market as it is false advertisement.

Nothing at all. From the surly greeting to the disgusting prison cell like room it was so bad we left within ten minutes of leaving. I booked a double room with balcony, to be allocated what I hope was the worst room in the hotel because surely none of the others could have been worse. This was not a cheap or budget holiday, they wanted to charge £150 per night!!! Please choose somewhere else as above

The hotel was central and the pool was great. Very peaceful and nice to read a book by. On the last day, the owner helped us book a cab. The staff were a bit gruff and unfriendly though; I’m not sure if it was end of season fatigue. Our original room had a considerable ant problem. I understand this wasn’t the owners fault (the columns of ants were just searching for food or somewhere new) but when we asked them to move us to a different room, we were made to feel it was our fault. The ants were marching right across the walls and the bed! There was no apology (we’d unpacked) and my next day enquiry, if we could move back to our original room, was met with anger. We then felt like we’d been marked out. Breakfast was very basic (cake, white bread rolls, packaged jam and pre-plated ham & cheese slices). We asked what the options were on day 1 and were told this was it. The next 2 mornings guests were offered juice, fruit, croissants and eggs. I asked 2 different members of staff but on both days were told there were no options. Then all the different food came out for the others. It was a bit comical and we definitely felt singled out.

Friendly hotel, with a lovely pool which had a view over the mountains. The hotel was in a good location very short walk to the village, with plenty of restaurants , bars and shops. Plenty of free parking. Breakfast was only okay. Water is in the fridge however at an extra charge. Shower was very small with its door opening outwards, take care not to flood the bathroom.

The hotel looks gorgeous and the room was very clean. The furniture seems a little older but gives the rooms a retro-chic charme. AC and hot water was working well and the beds were equipped with clean, comfy duvets. The restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful but their english skills were limited. I particularly enjoyed the pool, as it has plenty of sun beds and the water was just the perfect temperature. The reception was not very helpful and borderline rude. I asked upon check in if they could help me organize a taxi to the airport for the following day and was informed upon that I should do so upon check out. On check out I was handed a sticky note with two phone numbers and told to call myself (that’s a first!) Even though I do not have an Italian sim card, I was out of options and had to place the call myself. (the taxi company informed me that they were very busy and had to make some calls to try and arrange my transportation and I should have booked it sooner - you don’t say - but I made it in the end) As I was checking out, I noticed a print out lying on the counter with my booking information. I am not comfortable with having my information displayed so openly and asked it be moved (which they did eventually) but the whole interaction was very frustrating and the lady at the counter seemed rather condescending towards me. Also I do not appreciate how unprofessionally my personal information was handled. Overall, the staff was helpful and friendly but reception ruined the overall experience and thus the tip.
