Location, Front Desk Staff, Gate Security and Gate Staff professionalism. Breakfast included. Modern safe in room. Cleaning was late, erratic and not thorough. Provision of towels was an issue and we had to ask on several occasions for towels to be provided. The hotel was short-staffed and our room was often cleaned at 3pm or later. We would lock our patio door and ensure the inter-leading door was locked, but upon our return we found them unlocked which raised questions about security- although our belongings were fortunately intact.

Staff were friendly and offered us extras when they inconvenienced us. Not all rooms available when we arrived - despite us telling them when we'd get there. While we had dinner people were doing loud maintenance work just behind us in the dining room. We were told breakfast started at 6:30 but it was after 6:50 by the time they had put everything out - only 20min delay but annoying when you're stood waiting and have a flight you're catching that morning. Wasn't the service you'd expect for Hyatt....

Location was great as this was a business trip. On arrival the reception was very professional. Room was neat and clean. I found the breakfast experience extremely disappointing. The coffee served from the vending machine was cold, and although a replacement was offered, the second cup was equally cold. Unfortunately, all hot breakfast items were also served cold. It appeared that the food had been prepared well in advance and transferred into Le Creuset stoneware casseroles, several of which were visibly chipped and cracked. These were placed on induction warmers set at 60°C, which would be acceptable only if the food had been at the correct serving temperature to begin with. While the presentation was attractive and the chef took photographs of each dish, it was evident that insufficient attention had been given to the most fundamental requirement—ensuring the food was served at a safe and enjoyable temperature. When I raised my concerns with the chef and management, the response was simply, "sorry." As a result, I was unable to enjoy the breakfast and merely picked at the meal. What made the experience particularly disappointing was that I had invited a guest to join me for breakfast. Aside from the embarrassment this caused, I was charged R275.00 for her meal. This level of quality and service falls well below the standard I would expect from the Hyatt Group.

Venue is exactly where we needed to be. The property needs some TLC and the bathroom basin in the room is too small - if you shave with a blade you put your life at risk. Bathroom basin in rooms and the property need's some love.

Breakfast options were okay. The location was good for me. The staff were great! The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially the front desk staff, Toka—a very good guy. The facility is good too, quite homely. I stayed in many hotels during my visit to SA. Hayat House Sandton was the best.

The breakfast was excellent. Since we were two woman alone, the safety aspect is important. We felt safe for our entire stay. Nothing particular.

It was a fantastic one, thanks to Q & Toka for their hospitality!

The location, the hospitality of the staff, and above all, the family room's set-up and cleanliness. The food is very spicy, and kids cannot eat it. It is prudent to clearly indicate this at the time of booking.

We were upgraded to a suite and this was a comfortable size and space. If we had not been upgraded to a suite, the room would have been small. The bed is rather small for two people. A normal room would be a tight squeeze- we had a suite.

A nice place to stay Coffee shop must take less time serving. To serve 2 different snacks took more than 45 minutes. Its too long
