Great place for an extended stay,

Excellent service all around…..

We didn’t know it’s renovation until we asked them. No coffee machine, 1 bowl and 2 plates and bread knife. Paint all over the room and bathroom. But the facility is very clean.

Unfortunately, my experience was very unpleasant. The hotel was not clean, and several areas appeared dirty and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the property did not meet the standards I expected. In addition, I had a negative interaction with the General Manager, Phil Gibbs. I found him to be rude, unprofessional, and dismissive when I attempted to discuss my concerns. Rather than addressing the issues respectfully, I felt that my complaints were ignored and not taken seriously. As a paying guest, I expected courteous customer service and a clean, comfortable environment. Instead, I was left frustrated and disappointed by both the condition of the hotel and the management's response. I hope Sonesta Hotels will review this matter and take appropriate steps to improve both customer service and hotel cleanliness so that future guests do not have a similar experience. Sincerely,

Nothing about this day was as advertised. Our room had no basic cooking utensils. It had one saucepan. The dishwasher was full of dishes. Some were clean. Were dirty. The dish soap under the sink was completely empty. There was no blow dryer in our room. The toiletries in the shower were body wash and conditioner so I was unable to wash my hair. The hotel was undergoing renovations and at one point they were refinishing the final flooring in the hallway using turpentine right outside our door. We had to stop the guy from working so that we could get into our room. Needless to say, we were breathing turpentine for the on this cake was when the manager threatened to call the police department on me because I was not leaving at noon. When I booked the room I was offered a upgrade for $15 for a late checkout. When I checked in I did what the email said which was to confirm with the front desk. He said that it was in the system and everything was a go for a late checkout. At noon I get a pounding on the door. It's the manager telling me I need to leave. He was very rude. Told me they don't offer a late checkouts told me they're no longer corporate and I said that's not my problem. When I booked the room I was offered this upgrade and I confirmed upon check-in and was told that it was fine. He told me if we weren't out within the hour he would be calling the cops. I know it's a place to save money but don't stay here. I will be attempting to get a refund from hotels.com

Room is not smell fresh.

The hotel was under renovation for all the common areas and halls at all hours. We did not know nor we were informed until we arrived. We had dust in the room and asked for housekeeping to clean up but was told all the staff was off and this was at 4:30 pm.

Locate was close to the event we attended. On our check date my husband went down stairs to retrieve a luggage cart. When he asked the front desk clerk if he know where he could find one, he was told that the clerk didn’t know and maybe he would find one on the 3rd floor. He offered no assistance. Luckily he found one by the elevator.
