Cabrillo Inn at the Beach

Very good

Close to the beach. the room didn't have air conditioning they put a floor fan next to the window to cool the room, the fans were noisy. The rooms are old looking it looked like something from the 70's that weren't kept up. I will never go back there again. Honestly, they should close the place down.

Access to beach Rooms secured with locking sliding glass door (not the most safe). Louvered windows didn’t close tightly.

Location Dated

Absolutely nothing No AC in rooms, bathrooms have mold in showers, carpet is at least 30 y/o, poor lighting, we were provided 3 fans to try and stay cool. The plugs were loose so it’s an electrical hazard. The pool has seen better days & even with that we had to get in it in order to cool off as we had no other option. When asked why there is no AC we were told it gets cool at night bc we’re by the water…what about during the day?? Staff is not helpful and are not informed on what is happening around the area. They have an attitude of oh, well… A total rip off.. It shouldn't be call an Inn, this is more my a transient motel

It’s directly across the road from the beach. It wasn’t cleaned. It was dusty and there was ants which they took care of when told. There was no air con and the fans in the room were really dusty and would put the dust everywhere. I am a chronic asthmatic so we had to damp dust the room.

Decent location. I never dreamed a $305 room in SoCal would have NO A/C ! When we arrived the door was ajar and a fan was blowing in to cool it down. We had to leave it like that all night

Mini-balcony with ocean view. Television. Bed Ants in the room. Small shower. No a/c

Location is great The facilities were old, rundown and needed much repair. Simple new carpet and paint would’ve gone a long way.

There is a huge step I miss judged it and fell really hard be careful it is higher than you expect otherwise perfect

Location, location, location. Bed, room, staff. Lack of a toilet brush.

It was an okay room with great access to the beach. I wish it was a little more modernized. There is a lot of debris they are, I am assuming, clearing out eventually.
