Hotel Santa Barbara

We booked this room 20 minutes before we arrived and what an AMAZING stay we had for such a last minute booking. Another local hotel had mistakenly canceled our reservation and we were in something of a bind as our friends were staying at this other hotel. We needed something local and this was a block away. The staff was so friendly! Our room was clean and beautiful (the color drenching was an excellent touch). Our bed was so comfortable. And the location was just perfect. Our friends were jealous and wish they had also booked here, the original hotel (the same price point) was not nearly as nice. We can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!

The property was great, however they fell down on the job. I was proposing to my fiancée that night. I confirmed with them twice that they would decorate the room for our return. They failed miserably.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything was great. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and they made us feel right at home. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and our stay was relaxing from beginning to end. We really appreciated the excellent service and the attention to detail. We had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with wonderful service! We truly enjoyed our time here and left with nothing but great memories.

The hotel is in a great location on State Street, lots of shops and restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the beach. The hotel is beautifully decorated as are the bed rooms. The rooms are not huge but I would say are a good size, the bathrooms are pretty small but are fine. There is filtered still and sparkling water available and ice on each floor. We used the hotel bikes which were complimentary, which was great as it is a really easy town to cycle around. Parking was reasonable compared to some other hotels we had been to at $30 a day. It was my birthday when I was there and on request of my daughter they sent a small bottle of wine, snacks and a note to our room. The staff on the front desk could have been a bit friendlier.

Great location right in the center of State Street. Pets stay FREE! Parking price is reasonable for the area. The hotel is very nice, courteous staff, and large rooms with a minifridge and a minibar and snacks for sale in the room. Good mocktails at the bar. Oh, and you can’t go wrong with the free cookies at check-in too! The only two areas that I marked down from 5 stars to 4 were for the staff taking over an hour and 3 requests to get dog bowls in my room and for the amenities (no room service, minimal food choices at the bar only, and no pool).

Lovely hotel! Perfect location.

The staff were amazing. We were traveling with a toddler and that’s never easy. But the staff were so welcoming and made the stay very easy. The room was on the smaller end but over all we had a good stay. Can’t wait to be back.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us great food suggestions and kindly directed us to the bikes available at the hotel for our excursions.

Parking was hard to find if you hadn’t been there before, not explained anywhere, had to call everything else was very good, the rooms were very nice and thoughtfully prepared.
