Hyatt Place Santa Barbara

the room was not as shown in pictures let alone when i checked in and laid down cuz my long drive i became very itchy when i explained this to the staff they did not do anything or offer to change my room so i checked out after 1 hour of being in the room nor did they give me my refund they charged me 315 dollars just so i can break out in a rash. very disappointed i will definitely not recommend staying at this location.

Everything was clean organized and convenient

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was further out on upper State than I expected but that was my fault. Room was clean and very roomy.

Nice convenient location. Felt it’s just a step above a motel ambiance so comparatively quite expensive. Expect zero amenities in the room.

The hotel is not really close to anything. There is some shopping within a mile walk.

The rooms are nice and the beds are very comfortable! The cleaning service/staff is amazing!

Very clean. Staff isn’t very friendly, especially the maids, they just stare at you. They never say hi. The hotel was just as described and pictured. Nice free breakfast. All in all, I am happy with my stay.

This hotel is decent, but the mattress was very flimsy and the bedding smelled a bit like bleach. The room was very spacious and it looked like the breakfast was nice. I think it's silly that they charge $10 to park there. There was a very strange electrical humming noise that started in the middle of the night and it woke me up.

Everything was exactly as described in the listing\. The property was clean, comfortable, well\-maintained, and in a great location\. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again\.

I would say this property is "average", nothing spectacular, but nothing awful. The breakfast was good. We had a minor issue with our room, but there was not any staff members available to help us so we just had to deal with it.

Is next to the garage! Hotel close to the freeway! Definitely not worse $300 per night!

This is the kind of place that makes you want to come back, and whenever we’re in Santa Barbara again, we’ll definitely stay here. Five stars all the way! Highly recommended!

The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. We also loved the buffet breakfast that was included in the price. Our only complaint would be the air conditioner in our room which either blew very cold air or hot air causing us to turn it off at bedtime. This appears to be caused by the thermostat which cannot be set to only cool or to heat but must be set to a desired temperature. Every time the A/C overshot that temperature and cooled too much, the heat would kick in to compensate. Our kids’ room did not have the same issue so this is likely isolated to our room.

Nice hôtel with a boutique feel. We used the jacuzzi and appreciated itx extended hours
