The black gentleman who checked us in was unhelpful. The Hispanic lady who manned the front desk the other days was very helpful. The room cleaner did a great job every day. The pillowcases were rough and the AC was noisy but the beds were comfortable. Ear plugs would have made our stay more comfortable. The bathroom was good but needed more holding bars for elderly people and the floor was slippery.

I've been coming to this motel for years; however, when Covid happened, it changed. This year I finally came back. Motel is still great. I love this place. Great location, feel secure, and I've never had any problems. And the rate has always been fantastic. However, only one thing--the bicycles are missing. I suppose they did away with it. But overall always a great stay!

It was run down, the bed was a very hard matress along with the pillows. I slept very poor. Upon arrival the room was very hot, the wall a/c unit took hours to cool down the space. Also, all night the a/c blew directly on me laying down. If I turned it off, the room became very stuffy. Also, the room did not look like the photo at all, the picture looks renovated, our room was not modern. The location was great and felt safe. Not in walking distance though to shops and restaurants on State Street.

This older motel is basically being "let go". We stayed here a couple years ago because of its good location, a clean, basic and comfortable place for a night or two. Chipped pain, cracked grout, divots in the bathroom door, filthy exterior, near empty shampoo/ soap all clues that make you wonder what else could be wrong when you head off to sleep. Older motels can have character and charm but need constant maintenance! Not here, that's for sure, sad to say. Not at all recommended.

Location AC unit was poor quality Window coverings did NOT cover window or light from coming in. 2” gap between shades where I could see the parking lot through☹️

TV did not work and AC made insanely loud clanking noise throughout night. It’s an easy spot to stay for a night for a bowl concert but VERY far from being worth $300 a night.

Room was okay. Kind of felt damp. Like, the rug was damp…weird. Bed and shower were decent.

Clean room and nice staff Could have been cheaper price

The location and ease of getting to the hotel were perfect for a one night trip to Santa Barbara for a concert at the bowl.

location and priding For an overnight stay, great

It was really quiet and had a fun, old inn feel. The location was perfect. The AC wasn’t great and the sink in the bathroom smelled a little.

Good location, easy to find, free parking. It's a bit pricey but then Santa Barbara is of course an expensive environment. The room and in fact the whole property is a bit dated. This showed in particular with the air-conditioning in the room which didn't work very well. A quick measure could be to allow to have the windows a bit more opened on the opposing ends of the apartment to allow some air circulation.

Overpriced for fiesta. Parking was full. Blinds offer no privacy. Hair on bathtub walls and a spot of what I presume was period blood on the wall. Avoid,

The "suite" was nicely decorated, clean. The A/C unit very loud, "in wall" style and controls didn't function well. Minimal features, (2) towels, basic amenities in the room. The "motel" building and "upper patio deck" all in shabby condition, minimal "outdoor parking" was definitely a "motel" property. The "front desk" is a tiny space that again reflects a very old "Motel". The price point for this "suite" was way overpriced for the property. Courtyard by Marriott was across the street, new updated facility, more of what I would have expected from the description and photo of the room at Presidio

Location. And felt safe. Our toilet needed to be plunged as soon as we arrived and after plunging, there was toilet water dripping across the floor. One bed lamp didn’t work. Broken luggage rack. Broken deck chair. Cheap and shoddy renovations. Mold in bathtub surround. No coffee! Weird vibe. Photos on website looked better. No bikes available as advertised.
