About Inn of the Governors

What a wonderful place to stay while visiting New Mexico! It has so much old-world charm, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. We wanted to be close to the Plaza, and the location was perfect. Parking was easy, the complimentary breakfasts were excellent, and the sherry and biscochito hour was the cherry on top. We’ll definitely stay here again when we return in a couple of years.

Pros: pool, walking distance to many places, beautiful flowers. Cons: parking, shower head and ceiling height, room smelled like vomit, TV poor quality.

The WiFi was unsecured and not strong enough to log on. False advertising. Parking is difficult as the spaces are too small for large vehicles. I was trapped often in my sedan. Took 5 min to get out of one space. The location is terrific, breakfast great, friendly staff. With some work it could be a top hotel.

Water pressure in the shower was weak, the Spanish guitar music in the lobby was wonderful

Negatives were a room close to Alameda Drive with traffic noise at night particularly.
