Seriously the best hotel I. Santa fe
-
loved the room location where I could see the sunset from the terrace!
-
Bathroom flooded 1st day. Maintenance did come and fix the problem. We where compensated also.
-
Staffwere great but ourroom had plumbing problems. Toilet not wofking for two days. Used lobby toilet first day and after 2nd the fix was temporary. Notified staff on the first night but don't think anything was done about the problem. As a result the hotel was a disappointment.
-
Very clean, staff were so helpful and kind, loved the stay and close proximity to the plaza!
-
Excellent location, clean rooms quiet. Staff very helpful and considerate.

The hotel and room were perfect. Staff extremely helpful except, we had a major malfunction with our hair dryer which started smoking. We called three times for another one BEFORE we needed to leave the room since our hair was soaking wet. The hair dryer was not provided until after we left. We called at least an hour before we were leaving. The room had 2 double beds but only drinking glasses for one person until we asked for another. We appreciated that there were 4 kpods for coffee each morning. Our room was not cleaned by the time we returned one evening but we were able to touch base with cleaning staff in the hall to replenish needed items.

Rooms were nice, pool was wonderful and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Superb

Property is old and in poor condition - walls scuffed, carpets dirty, furniture terribly worn out. The floor of the room was pretty filthy. The pullout couch was not prepared by housekeeping and we had to do it ourselves - the mattress was disgusting. Really off-putting, to think one of us had to sleep on that. Bathroom was fine, linens were nice, but that rest.... all I can say is, thank God we only had to stay there one night.

The staff at the El Dorado are amazing. They directed us to a good mechanic as our truck was breaking down upon arrival and were genuinely concerned for us. The pool staff and bar staff were awesome too.
-
Seems to be a problem at all the Heritage Hotel properties we have stayed at in New Mexico.
-
The staff at this hotel was phenomenal. All staff were friendly, helpful, and seemed to be very happy at their jobs.

WE HAD A GREAT VISIT AT THE EL DORADO AND IT WAS SO EASY TO WALK DOWNTOWN
-
We loved the hotel and pool area. We were able to swim all day and then go to the hot tubs after dinner. It was on a Tuesday and we had it to ourselves. The location is great for wandering around town. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Loved it and would definitely come back

Great location for exploring

Let me tell you, those negative reviews were all wrong. We could not say enough nice things about our stay at the Eldorado. We parked the car for 3 days and walked the city of Santa Fe. We really enjoyed the King room with patio and view of the pool area. These are the rooms to get - so nice to be so close to the pool and hot tubs. Room was beautiful and large and the bed/bedding was just fantastic. We really slept well every night. I highly recommend the Eldorado!

Overall it was a wonderful stay. The only thing I didn't like was that they said coffee would be served at 6am. It wasn't ready until 7am. There was a line of cranky people waiting at the door.
