Morabeza Hotel

Very well located, a lot of things to do at the hotel. The facilities are a bit old.

Bed matress to soft, windows cannot be opened and to vent with fresh air we had to open the door and rhen the mosquitos came. Solution: windows with mosquito net.

Excellent location on a wonderful beach Rooms are dated and tired in areas and outside restaurant dining chairs and tables need to be thrown away. Threadbare beach towels.

Location close to beach and town, scale of the hotel is not enormous, water saving system by recycling the grey water, nice bach bar Hotel room was quite simple, functional but not worth 220 EUR per night.

The room was not very new and hotel is a bit outdated , the breakfast is basic but location is great.

Beautiful oasis in the middle of Sal. Three pools all different and the staff went above and beyond to help. Denilson the bar tender was great and a wealth of knowledge about islands. Also, Alex and Emma at reception were very accommodating and helped with any request.

The location was very good and the swimming pool areas were quiet, very comfortable and clean. The staff were unfriendly and rude especially the reception staff. They have a crazy system that when you return a pool towel they give you a card relating to your room number. During the middle of our stay, we needed to change hotels because they didn't have accommodation for the duration of our time in Cape Verde but we were returning the next day. We lost a couple of the towel cards which blew away in the wind. They made us feel like criminals because we had lost a piece of laminated paper. They pounced on us 4 times asking where the cards had gone. In the end, I even offered to make them a new one. They were miserable and surly talking about me and my children behind our backs. When they gave us a new card when we changed rooms they sniggered saying "don't lose it". I have never been treated like this and will never return to such an unfriendly place.

Great location 1 minute from beach and 1 minute from main pedestrian street! Staff were welcoming. Examples include: 1) Took heavy bags to room and 2) allowed me to take a shower after a full day tour even though I had checked out (and left my bags in their storage location) officially earlier in the day! The ability to take a much needed shower was an amazing gesture and show of customer service! Had three swimming pools and restaurants on site. Rooms were of a decent size and included necessary features like hot shower water, toiletries, TV, good A/C. Provided a little newsletter at check-in, which was cute. The wifi worked fine in the lobby, but in the room, it was downright horrible, and didn't work. Major problem! The breakfast (included in the room rate) had limited options and should be expanded. Also, they need to cover the food and keep the birds out the serving room. The hotel should cater more to the guest staying with them so hotel guests can more easily eat at the beach restaurant and use the beach chairs. Currently non-guests get the same benefits and priority as guests. Recommendation: Add an iron and ironing board in the room. Recommendation: At check-in, in addition to just providing the newsletter have the person walking you to your room go over all the hotel features (from the live music, swimming areas, restaurant choices, need to reserve in advance, etc).
