About Hotel Terminal - Caroli Hotels
Featuring a private beach, Hotel Terminal has an outdoor pool and sun terrace, shaded by an ancient pine tree. With Mediterranean Sea views from its restaurant and terraces, it is on Santa Maria di Leuca's promenade. Headboards in the bright rooms are made from local Alessano stone. The décor includes images and sea shells from the Salento region, and locally made furnishings. Most rooms have a balcony, some overlooking the sea. A sweet and savory breakfast is served in the elegant restaurant or on the terraces. Lunch and dinner consist of characteristic Salento cuisine, made from local ingredients. Tastings can be arranged in the well-stocked bar, and cooking lessons are available. Offering sun loungers and parasols, the beach is linked to the hotel by a private passageway. The garden offers shady areas and Wi-Fi is free throughout. The 24-hour front desk can arrange bike and car rental. Surrounded by 19th-century villas, Terminal Hotel is 7 minutes’ walk from the harbor. License Number(s): IT075019A100020446

Great location! The staff was wonderful. The facility in general needs some upgrades but overall… great stay. Bathroom was very outdated. Noise from another room’s shower? Sink? Toilet? Was very loud in my room. It sounded like running water was pouring in my room.

An older but very nice hotel on the beach. Fabulous location!!! Excellent professional staff. Fantastic breakfast. Loved the balcony with the ocean view!

Great location and very helpful breakfast and clean
-
Proximity to the shoreline Needing the key to keeping the power on in the room. Couldn’t power-up my devices while I was out of the room.

Breakfast could be better but was acceptable

Great location on the lungomare! Nice pool out back. Most balconies have at least a little view of the harbor or the sea. There were many restaurants and bakeries within a short walk of the hotel. Parking was a bit tight but we never had to walk far. The staff was friendly and the rooms large and nice. Everything was good or better so nothing to complain about.

The location is across the street from the sea. It smells like cat litter in the pathway to the room. The facilities are outdated and in poor maintenance. One of the two toilet paper rolls was dirty, a health hazard to use toilet paper soiled by others.

Perfect location in a beautiful little village, right on the beach A little old. Looks like it had its glory days in the 80s

Great location. We had a family room overlooking the beach with 2 balconies. Straight across the road was the hotel’s beach. The double glazing meant that it was very quiet. Restaurants very close by. The breakfast was very poor, lacked fresh fruit. The ham & cheese was tasteless. Coffee from a machine. Breakfast finished at 9.30. Come for the location not the breakfast. Also the bedrooms could have done with softer pillows. However, the hotel, family room and location made it all worthwhile. We had a lovely holiday.

The location. It’s a great spot and very central to everything. The lobby is nice, the breakfast is decent but there’s no fruit or anything fresh. Coffee is from a machine. Where to start. The staff were rude and didn’t even try to be friendly. I called to tell them my mini fridge was broken and they sent someone up which was great. But the “repairman” told me the fridge was fine and that it was a “light” fridge which was why it wasn’t cold. I said what is a light fridge? What is the point if it doesn’t keep drinks cold? The fridge was enclosed in a wicker cabinet so we ended up keeping the door of the wicker open so drinks got cold after 24 hours. The “hairdryer” is more like a vacuum attached to the wall. After about 3 minutes it heats up so much it burns your hand to touch. On our last day visiting the pool the lifeguard (who we saw everyday we were there) came up and told us we had to wear swim caps in the pool and we needed only 2 euros for each swim cap or we had to get out of the pool. Now this wouldn’t bother me if they told me at check in or when we first saw him on day 1 of our trip (we stayed for 5 days) but not on our last day. The beds were very uncomfortable, the shower was tiny. I would never stay here again, find somewhere nicer.

Close to the ocean. Nice hotel You had to wear a bathing cap to use the pool
-
beautiful vintage hotel! Seaside, with a gorgeous pool and wonderful accommodations. We did not eat at the restaurant except for breakfast which was a fabulous continental style buffet. Highlight of my trip! Fruit at the breakfast buffet would have been nice, but it was wonderful as is.

Helpful staff, large bedroom, great views, wonderful location Mini bar only contained water, main bar did not have Aperol or Campari just a generic non branded replacement which was awful. Restaurant food set for coach parties and groups, food lacked finesse and care. Excellent pasta, terrible salmon. These examples show a hotel cutting standards and costs which is a shame

Great location. Big rooms very clean The shower was a corner shower made for small people. You can get in and out but it’s small. We had a queen bed that was two twin put together. Some of those are good but this was not. Big bump in middle

It was clean and vue on the sea was great As it was low season, there was limoted activities (limited menu at the restaurant, swimming pool closed - as mentioned in the note of Booking.com but i did not notice during the booking, thinking that the criteria "swimming pool as facility" means "open swimming pool"

Pictures are very deceiving. We traveled in late March so the weather was cool and rainy. Nothing was open/ available : the pool was empty and the pool deck and spa closed, garden droopy and unkempt, no activities on the beach. The lobby is bright and airy but that’s all there is. Nothing else to do there. Good breakfast. The hotel was full of teenagers on a school trip running around the hallways screaming at night past 10:00 pm. They did quiet down after I called the reception and complained.

The breakfast was fine, and the location was marvellous. I paid quite a lot for the lunch - The pasta was okay, but the meat was terrible, just three slices of grey sliced pork in a congealed salty gravy. It was like a school dinner. The desert was fruit, which was welcome – but there were no dolci, and I didn’t understand that there would be no – what we in the UK call – desserts. The other major problem – which was not the Hotel‘s fault really, was that they had a coachload of teenagers. The noise they made until long after midnight was truly atrocious and it was very hard to sleep until the early hours of the morning. I realise this was the teachers fault, not the hotels, but it really was a problem.

It was serene The breakfast could have included more options
