Clean and perfect location for the beach and for going out. Friendly staff!

Nice small scale hotel right on the main street of Santa Maria, Sal, where you will find the restaurants, shops and most of the action. Great value for money as it's well priced. It's nicely decorated, the room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was clean as well and it was cleaned every day. The staff was friendly. The breakfast is good enough. The bed was comfortable. We had a nice balcony looking out on the pedestrian street of Santa Maria. The beach is less than a 5 minute walk away. Although the location is very central, there was no noise at this part of the street. Just the sound of life. We would definitely stay at the same hotel, if we would come back to Sal. Not a negative, but the water was not always running properly. Sometimes only hot water and sometimes only cold water.

Hi Ouri Hotel Julia, I was a guest at your hotel from July 30-August 2, 2025, room #103. I am happy with the accommodation even though 1 late afternoon, the lights went out and did not come back until 2 hours later. No worries about that, it’s part of Cape Verde life. It is not the hotel’s fault, I totally understand that, and have no complaints there. Upon checking out on the evening of August 2, I thought I had everything until I realized when I was about to board the flight out, that I forgot a few of my valuable items in the pull-out drawers ! Immediately I tried calling your hotel but to no-avail. The next morning, I get an email from your receptionist Karine notifying me that they have found clothes left in the drawer of my room ! I needed the clothes back and she proceeded to help, from the heart. I just want to thank you Karine for going out of your way to help me get my items back. Karine went to the post office and post-mailed me my items all the way to the USA. I work in customer service myself and I must say, Karine’s customer service is pure 100%. Thanks to her, I am reunited with my valuable items that I thought I lost forever. Karine deserves a raise ! I will definitely be recommending your hotel to any of my friends that will be traveling to Sal soon. Thank you. Mya Dao The electricity out for 2 hours but that is not the properties fault

The breakfast was nice and the location good. The staff there were not that helpful we asked where to buy water from on a Sunday and they were not able to advise us and also my partner stepped on a sea urchin and they did not even have a first aid box available.

The Ouril Hotel is super well located, on the main street of Santa Maria. The room was super clean and comfortable and the staff was just lovely. The location of the Hotel was great, however sometimes it was quite loud outside and you could hear the noise from the street or the loud music coming from the bars.

Decent breakfast, lovely staff, about a four minutes walk from the beach. Located in the main strip of Santa Maria so you can access everything you need. English speaking staff (most times). Very helpful. Definitely value for money. I did have an issue with my booking as a link came in through the Booking.com app which was an app. Once I got my money back from the Bank. I paid the hotel on my 10th stay. Very helpful and polite.

The staff, especially Kany, is the best. She does the best cheese omelette (best breakfast ever compared even to Hilton hotel!) and she is the sweetest trying to accommodate any request! Also, the room was spotlessly cleaned and modern furnishings, and AC working well! Beds and mattress is good as well. Wifi is OK. In one side of the street there's a night club open until 4am, right next to the hotel so it's the worst part...you can't escape the noise..especially because this night club keeps opening and closing doors so you end up hearing the music until late and then people speaking at the street... But, if you are tired you'll sleep anyway... I would stay there again because the value for money is very ok...

The location The morning breakfast “ stand”, needs a little more attention. A fridge stand is needed to keep: Yoghurt, milk, cold cuts and other stuff fresh. When it’s left out for too long it growths bacteria causing health problems.

The staff was incredibly nice and accommodating. Amazing location. Breakfast was okay. Room was near the futbol field which could be heard with the door closed. Bed was uncomfortable.
