Way too expensive for what it is. Very basic, no aircon nor fans, dorm is really small with a disgusting bathroom for 14 people and gets crazy hot at night. Nevertheless I met some great people there and staff was decent. Also not too much to choose from on Sal for backpackers anyways, do what you have to.

Basic but charming little hostel, comfortable beds, good bathrooms, and all very clean and friendly. A fabulous, supernice host with a cheeky Fawlty Tower charm. Fabulous breakfast (extra cost) with homebaked bread and one of the best coffees in town.

We were there four nights, changed rooms after one night to another one. The shared bathroom for the dorm wasn't cleaned once during our stay. Toilet paper, soap were not refilled, you needed to come down and ask for it and then the staff would happily give you more. While the staff was trying to accommodate us, the overall atmosphere was quite stiff and awkward. The main problem was that there were probably bed bugs - after one of the nights we found some bed bug bites on us and decided to change the location.

The property is so fresh, clean and colourful. Fabulous job from new management ♥️?. No complaint.

Lucia, the host is very helpfull & kind. The location is close to everything. It was a pleasure, that we have got a family room instead of a queen size bed in the dorm. For no extra charge. The bathroom were not clean. We clean it everyday by our self (normal for shared bathroom), but diffcult with dirty cleaning equipment & dorm mates who don't care about their cleanness.

Nothing I've not be there... I booked, had my confirmation. I hoped that I could let my stuff on the hostel before the check in because I arrived around 8am. The localization was not good, I took Time to find the place. There was nobody inside, but a Key box with a code on the wall. So I guessed it was the way to enter liké it's happened sometimes on Booking. I never knew, because I had only one message of the owner who Ask when I was supposed to arrive. For sure he don't readed mine because I told that I was there and asking how to enter. It was difficult to communicate because I used wifi, but send several messages by Booking, try to call by what's app thé number they give on Booking and on the Doors, even try with another one that give me a neigbor. Finaly I decided to canceled the hostel for another one. I had news two days later, the owner was sorry but hé was in Portugal. Don't go there!

the room was big enough and the beds were a bit hard but I like that. The staff was very friendly. Lucia was great to me! I went in the low season. In my case it meant that I had the room for myself. Luckily I met some people around and had a great time. The location was good but it’s around a 5-10 min walk from the so called boulevard and beaches. Also I travel by myself and in the beginning I was a bit afraid to have the walks home in the evenings. Luckily it wasn’t necessary I noticed after a few days, but it’s good to know.

The rooms were modern and the beds were comfortable. Good location as well, near some local restaurants and a few minutes walking to the beach. We arrived late, so we arranged a taxi with the hostel. The driver got drunk (their words) and never showed up. So we ended up taking another taxi and got their much later. At arrival, we called the number and had to wait another 30+ minutes until someone opened the door for us. Disappointing, considering they knew we were going to be arriving late anyway. Also, the showers and water taps in the bathrooms were BOILING hot. It was actually kind of dangerous if you weren’t ready for it. Totally unusable.
