It is a really stylish place combining rustic and modern decoration, the outdoor area is stunning; surrounding by the nature and good view. There is a pool and a pool table you can use it whenever. Our cabin was simple and spacious, making it comfortable. Our rest was disturb during our stay by a dog barking and a hen at 5 AM. The hen did not miss a day, the dogs were barking one night and was not appreciable at all. You need to ask for the price of the plate you will order in advance as we experienced to be charged a high price for a fried fish.

The location was great, a 5-10 minute bus ride to Tayrona Park. The swimming pool and pool table are great additions. The food was great, we ate here and everyday. The hammocks are also very comfortable. Princessa the cat is adorable. The owner Harold was very nice despite the language barrier. He works very hard and does all the work by himself. The cleanliness of the room was not great. There were dead bugs under/around our toilet and sink. There was sand/dirt all over the floors around the bed frame. Our water was not turned on upon arrival so we couldn’t shower. The WiFi barely reached to our room so majority of time we had to be outside of the room. The price of the meals was exceptionally high considering. The atmosphere was abysmal. Out of 3 nights there were no other guests. The daily wake up from the neighbours rooster and the bed time story from the barking dog

Friendly staff at reception who was helpful even with the language barrier. I understand an eco-hostel and have stayed in many but this place was just not okay. The rooms were disgustingly dirty. When unwrapping the mosquito net, a dead cockroach and a spider fell from it. The ground in the bedroom was filthy and had some sort of sand all over it. The main light would not work in the bedroom. There was a mysterious looking sort of mouse poo on the bedding. A totally uncomfortable stay, with plastic wrapping from construction next door waking us up every hour. Our friends had another room here and had exactly the same thoughts. Extremely disappointing when you see good reviews.

The pool was lovely. The staff tried their best to please. The barking dog on the next property all night. Very little water pressure in the bungalow at the top of the hill.

All amazing! We stayed here before our overnight at Tayrona Park and it was perfect. The pool is great to cool down as Tayrona area is super hot - the slide was fun too. The rooms are beautiful and super clean. The staff were so nice we are there for dinner and the beef was amazing - like a home cooked meal. We loved it so much so we came back after our stay at Tayrona to collect our big backpacks and also to have the beef dish again because it was so delicious. The staff were super accommodating and nice to us. To get to Tayrona park it is a short bus ride! one thing to note is WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms

Accommodation was great. Nice pool. Staff were very accommodating, especially providing delicious vegan options for breakfast and dinner. Would recommend.

Loved absolutely everything about this place, everyone was helpful and attentive with fantastic food cooked in front of you. The rooms were beautiful and the whole place was well tended and spotlessly clean. We were made to feel very welcome and were genuinely sad to leave. Highly recommended. Nothing not to like.

The pool was a great hit with the whole family, especially after telling in tayrona. It was also very close to the park enrage - 3 or 4km Although the meals were freshly prepared there wasn't much choice.

Both the set-up of the accomodation (different cabins on the lot) and the warm and welcoming hosts/family. We stayed at Villa Cata before and after our 4-day Ciudad Perdida hike, and it really was a joy to return here. No remarks.

This place must’ve been nice at one time but those charming terraced bungalows have fallen in disrepair. The pool is nice. Harold, the cook, prepares nice meals and refills water bottles. Tayrona NP is easily reached by bus 2K or moto 3K. Credit card not accepted. Plastic mattress and pillow covers. Large family gatherings. Traffic noise.

This hotel is extremely beautiful. The design is neat.... so rustic. The hosts were so kind and made us feel like at home. Truly recommend this place. There are a lot of mosquitos that could bite you; however, it is not the hotel fault but the nature it is surrounded with.

Beautiful place. Amazing cabana. Big bed. Hammock outside. Also, there is a restaurant and swimming pool. Good food and good prices, cheap beer ;). Staff - smiling and always willing to help. Weak wifi - but who needs wifi in paradise?
