Hotel Palacio del Mar

We got a very spacious room with a balcony and sofa and dining table. The room was like a studio so there was lots of space. The bed was comfy and everything was clean. Staff were friendly. They have parking on site. Given that you are close to the beach, it would be useful to have drying rack on the balcony for your beach stuff.

location was very near walkable attractions and restaurants, especially the famous sardinero beach district breakfast was okay

Location of hotel was perfect for our need to be close to the coast (lighthouse area) to view the solar eclipse. Room was large, plenty of storage. We had to get staff a couple of times to show us how to operate the safe. In the end, an engineer came and adjusted the mechanism to get it to work properly. The worst thing was the shower area. Its a good shower but has no door or bund wall to stop water flowing into the main bathroom. This must have happened many times as both the toilet door and main bathroom door had swollen so badly with the water that they could not be shut.

Wonderful staff. Excellent service. Super clean throughout. Very modern and comfortable. Great location. Restaurant is great and staff there are amazing. Breakfast buffet is very well done

Very comfortable room and facilities. A busy Matador event being held took the edge off a perfect stay but not the hotels fault. Great access to the town, easy parking . Recommend the open top Sightseeing bus and it isn't far to pick up from the Hotel.

The room had an interconnecting door to another room where someone was slamming doors, moving furniture, or doing something similar. It was just one night but still...

We needed accommodation for just one night. Water was leaking from the ceiling in the bathroom; I reported it, and they fixed it quickly.But still... A large queen sized bed, not two twin beds next to each other. very large room, deck, fairly close to the beach. The room was very clean, dark thick curtains and house keeping came daily. There was some drilling construction going on above the bedroom for a couple days. It woke us up. The shower. The shower tray was basically flat and the water poured over the side. There was not AC in the room just in the common areas, there was a light cooling but no proper AC. Not a big deal but the bar area wasn't staffed very often so you couldn't just get a coffee or a drink.

Good location, massive rooms great living area, comfortable beds. Reception staff were lovely. Hotel very dated wouldn't say its a 4*. Balcony was terrible with a horrible view.
