Very friendly staff, great location for the Ferry Port. Very individual and attractive building . Lack of a lift and we were on 3rd floor. Basic facilities but good value for what we paid.

Location great. Breakfast worth the money. If a bed and roof is what you're after for the night in an elegant vintage hotel prior to airport/ferry, this is the place. Rooms on ground floor have no soundproofing, you can hear every footstep. No AC, which is bad when it's 30°C.

The price. The place has free parking. It is not downtown. It has a green area with a small playground for kids. It is an old fashioned and very basic hotel.

Seemingly an old country house forgotten on the outskirts of Santander, caught in a time warp between motorways, complete with perfectly manicured trees in the car park and knights armour. Friendly, clean, helpful.

One of the staff spoke good English and gave good advice on travel into Santander and using the bus. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable but we stayed in the quad room and the double bed is a double rather than king size. This was ok but a bit tight with 6ft 3 husband. No air con but there is a fan and radiator. Great parking for car and our folding caravan. Continental breakfast cereals/ toast/ coffee/ juice/ also had alternative miks which we appreciated. Ok selection especially for the price €3 for children and 5 Euros adults. You are short walk to the bus stop to get to Santander and taxi was 12-15 Euros. It's decor is quirky but we quite liked it. Small Local town is in walking distance had a few restaurants and we got a great menu del dia for 12 Euros. The bathroom in the quad room had no shelves and nowhere to put anything. This means everything is on the floor. This could be very easily fixed. The tap fittings were also loose and no bath plug but again easy to solve.

A clean and tidy stopover in a quiet location for a night before catching the ferry. It's an easy short drive to Santander beaches or to the ferry port from here. Continental breakfast included was adequate. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loads of onsite parking. Access to the hotel down a lane is a little tight if you met someone coming in the opposite direction but don't let this put you off.

Location not too far from airport, large car park ( for those arriving by car) plus close to bus stop to get to city centre. Reasonable range for breakfast. Breakfast staff friendly and helpful. Hotel in area with no other amenities...only 1 small bar ..so no option to eat close to hotel
