cleanliness and comfortable beds The restaurant: very bad and expensive food; due to the location (close to the airport) we couldn't find any alternative options for the meal; we couldn't eat almost anything; the waiter realized that we didn't like it, but didn't react at all

Michelle at the front desk was fantastic. The staff that greeted me for breakfast was outstanding and friendly. I had some pineapple bread they the chef made from scratch. The three young ladies did a great job in the afternoon when I had my lunch at 3 pm. The overnight gentleman was very helpful and call for a taxi for me at 5 am. Overall: My experience was great. Everything was very nice

The room was very basic. It was clean. The air conditioner didn’t work, there was only 2 tiny bottles of water in the room. There was a 5 gallon water dispenser in the hallway but it was empty. No wash cloths or tissues. Just very basic.

Good overnight stopover for the Ferries to Portsmouth There is a scrap metal recycling plant nearby and there is a somewhat unpleasant smell and metallic taste emitted from the place

Ideal for a short stay when you are getting on the ferry. The staff were friendly and our dog was made to fell very welcome. We'll definitely stay again :-) Nothing really, it was all good.

Our room was spacious, spotless and extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and we also enjoyed a glass of wine and a snack in the bar upon arrival, which was convenient after a very long and tiring drive. Loads of free, on-site parking. The room was rather warm for the time of year. The hotel wasn’t easy to find but I’ll blame our satnav/Google maps for that! We would definitely stay again.

Location ideal. Staff very welcoming and informative, room clean comfortable and spacious. Breakfast had a good choice for continental and English. Evening meals provided a minimal selection for the occasional diner. Good Price

It was exceptionally clean & bright & within easy access to the ferry port I think you need to state in the hotel info that there is no area inside at all where you can sit with your dog for a drink etc when the weather is bad— although, you do provide room service which compensates

Close to El Corte Inglés and the ferry terminal The on line check in was not passed through to reception by booking.com so much time was wasted
