Room,pool and breakfast very good, the later offered a great variety of cuisines.Bar staff very accommodating and overall th e stay was great. Location is a little far from beach and main areas.

The staff and cleanliness

The rooms, garden and pool are all beautiful. Quiet and peaceful and so relaxing to spend time around the hotel. Staff are so friendly too. Had a wonderful 60 minute massage - such a wonderful place to stay. Location could be an issue but a big plus for me. A short walk to the Main Street of sanur and only 5 mins by bike/car. And so quiet and a peaceful retreat.

The pool area, although a lot of guests seem to reserve a chair for the day and leave the pool so not enough chairs. No bar area with chairs, or sufficient pool chairs.

If you did want to leave and go explore by foot there isn't a lot to do. So you definately need to catch transportation and plan you meals if you plan to leave the hotel.

The hotel was a lovely wee find in Sanur. Big enough to be a resort, but small enough to feel a little more intimate. The staff were wonderful and the pool size is excellent. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms. There's little not to like about the Alantara - it was excellent value for money. However, if I was being overly critical - my only two comments would be the following: The Alantara is a wee distance away from Jl. Danau Tamblingam. Whilst not a huge walk (about 10-15 mins), you do have to cross a very busy road. Hubby and I took the pushbikes, but we are confident in the traffic - this may be daunting for many. In any case, a taxi or Gojek was less than a few bucks so all in all, not a biggie. The distance means its lovely and quiet! My only other feedback would be the breakfast - there could be a larger selection of choices. However, all in all - very little to grumble about. A wonderful stay and we would certainly go back!

The staff was above and beyond. They were amazing. They attended to everything that we need and they exceeded our expectations by far. They celebrated my wife’s birthday without me asking, and I had to leave earlier than my booking, and they were generous enough to refund me the remaining days, (although they don’t have to) according to the policy. They were kind with my kids playing with them all the time. Special thanks to the staff they made our holiday unforgettable More options in the breakfast

I love how clean and really well-maintained this boutique hotel is. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was excellent. Shuttle service to the center of Sanur town worked flawlessly. I wish there’s more space or hooks to hang your towels. I wish the hair dryer was stronger.

Our room was great, the pool was so unique and designed so well, the food was excellent, the staff was lovely. We stayed 2 nights after flying/traveling for 36 hours. We wanted a nice place to recoup. It was perfect. They were so helpful and we wanted for nothing. I really loved the heavy curtain you could pull to separate the bathroom area of the room with the bed area. Btwn the curtain and the doors on the toilet and shower it allowed for privacy.

Love the staff in every area of the hotel. The reservation staff, wait staff, housekeepers, and every single person was kind, considerate, and respectful. All of our needs were met as quickly as possible. The property is tucked away from the bustle of the area. A quick Grab ride and you are at the Beach. The breakfast is 5 star!
