Beautiful grounds and pool. The room was clean and comfortable. Nothing

Was nice and quiet. Could hair the birds and insects, what like. Good room lot of space. Could sit outside and hang your clothes to dry. Although it is a walk but within 1in you are at the beach walk with a lot of restaurants. About 25 min walk from Icon mall. Also for surfing in Sanur it’s near to the harbor so easy to go to different surf spots. Pool was a bit small, however, not a problem. It is far from the beach. So I had to walk about 15 min crossing a big road. Also for me no problem because I knew already.

Location is good, swimming pool is clean but small. Good breakfast Communal breakfast table - can be a little uncomfortable.

Some drivers refused to come to the gate because of an extremely narrow road the last 100m, so we worried we would have to walk with our bags. Fortunately, we convinced a private driver that there was enough room for u-turn, but it was more expensive, than regular taxi

The bathroom was stinky. They need to clean the pipes. Also, they need a proper safe in the room.

It is a quaint, lovely boutique hotel. Too bad the location is too far from everything. It is very quiet which I like, and the garden is beautiful. The staff very friendly and eager to help, but not everyone speaks English, nor are they there 24/7. Location too far from everything. TV not up-to-date. Channels extremely limited. Staff absence and food service availability only at certain time of day.

You can see on the picture here, it is beautiful swimming pool. But it is a pond in the jungle now. Almost all pool side with plant pot, looks the facility very small than before . The property looks smaller than we visit few years ago when we visit. With a lot of plant pot at pool side. The new owner doesn’t have nature mind.

The setting is lovely with a beautiful pool and garden. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The included breakfast was delicious. The cost was very reasonable.

Have stayed here many many times over the years. It’s very comfortable, spotless and lovely pool and garden. Staff are just diamonds and it’s great to see familiar faces every year. Good breakfast especially they don’t have a restaurant. I have spent 3 Nypei with them and again they all look after us so well. Fridges in rooms and endless bottled water. And must not forget Bella the cat who is usually to be found asleep on a chair beside me at breakfast. Not one thing.. just perfect

Good location, can easily walk out to Sindhu Night market and other eateries nearby. Pondok Ayu is nice & quiet. We didn't know that payment for the room wasn't made yet. So far, whenever we book through booking.com, our rooms were prepaid before we go. We were only informed the evening before we left, leaving us no time to arrange for other methods of payment, especially as there was a surcharge of 3% when we paid by credit card. This could have been avoided if we were informed of the need to pay earlier, giving us time to prepare cash.

The staff were helpful and proactive. The owners live there and they pretend that they are also customers. They live in small bungalow in front of the common pool. It feels uncomfortable to stay there because it seems like they spy the guests behind the curtains or stay close by the pool to control the hotel guests like CCTV just like previews guests mentioned on their reviews. The owners micromanage the staff the whole day asking them to do several tasks all the time. The owners should not live in or should advertise that it is more a guest house than a hotel. The guests feel like intruders or awkward there. The owners feel more like guests than the guests themselves because they have employees working more for them until late evening. It looks the hotel guests are there to pay for the owners to be served by a bunch of staff for themselves. Besides that, the owners also have dinners with their own guests there at the common dinning area. During my check out, I found awkward that they would charge an extra fee for card payments. I had to go out during a heavy rain to take money out to pay for my stay. The hotel doesn't look like the pictures at all. It looks like more a guest house more than a hotel. It's old and requires an urgent refurbishment and maintenance. Lack of management, lack of transparency, privacy and low standards for a short stay. It's very pricey for what they offer. It's a type of accommodation that it should even be advertised. It feels like a fake propaganda.

Fantastic little hotel, only five rooms and a central courtyard area with the pool so you feel like you're in a very private space. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and also make a delicious breakfast each morning. The rooms are spacious, clean and quiet so we had a lovely sleep each day. Much needed after a couple of weeks in Java! Location is fine, I don't understand the people who complain... the beach is 10 mins walk away, yes there's a busy road but you can just cross it normally. Overall 10/10 would only come back here if we return to Bali.

Exceptional

The hotel met our expectations. Beautiful territory with a wonderful garden, calm, relaxing atmosphere, very clean pool, comfortable and bright rooms. There are only 5 rooms in the facility, but there were practically no neighbors in sight. The room has a wonderful kitchen, equipped with everything you need. Drinking water in large bottles is always available. The staff carefully monitors the order and cleanliness in the rooms and throughout the territory. We extended our stay and always remember with gratitude Pjndok Ayu, his lovely hostess, caring and smiling Kadek and excellent staff.

I liked everything: the place, owners (Sari is so friendly and helpful!), good location: not far to the centre and, at the same time, lots of supermarkets and places for kids around. Everything is clean, the swimming pool is just perfect if you have a kid. I think for the property is great for its price

The property was very quiet (except for the rooster next door… nothing some earplugs didn’t fix!!). We liked that the property had just a few rooms and the garden was very nice and peaceful!!! The pool was fantastic and we had it all to ourselves most of the time! The room was very large with good AC and a mini fridge! The staff were very friendly and always happy to help! We booked massages and we thoroughly enjoyed them. It’s a great place to stay! There is no actual reception desk, so when we arrived there wasn’t much information provided about the property. A very kind man (who did a lot of the maintenance/ground keeping) helped bring up our bags and showed us to our room. There is an info book in the room so that helped with getting to know the property a little more. The property is located down a dimly lit alleyway. We used our phone flashlight to help guide us back to the property in the evenings. When going to the beach, you do need your cross a busy road. We didn’t have much issue, but thought it was worth mentioning!
