Grand Palace Hotel Sanur - Bali

My room had a balcony with a wall in front of it at a distance of about a metre or two. No view whatsoever so I wonder what the balcony was for.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The first stop was very quiet, but our second was quite noisy with furniture movement in the evening (some sort of party set up on the fourth floor). The rooms with connecting doors can be loud.

Breakfast was beautiful, would be nice to change it up a bit every few days as if your there for a few days there isnt much variety of different food after the 4th or 5th day. Great selection though and was delicious. The only downfall was the location being on a very busy road. We were so close to the beach but found the footpaths were very unstable and rough around the couple of blocks around the hotel and the main road is very busy with cars getting up to some quite high speeds but we ended up just getting a grab to the beach which was super cheap and avoided us having a trip/fall in the dark

Good facilities :big room with nice bed, clean bathroom, pleasant swimming pool and big choice buffet for breakfast. Not so far from the beach promenade

Fancy full service hotel at a really good price. On a busy road but there was no noise transfer.

Fancy but very affordable! Staff are so accommodating and the rooms are wonderfully clean and comfortable. We came as a big group and everyone had an amazing time. Thank you for your great work.

This is an excellent place to stay in Sanur !! The rooms are large and very clean. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and kind. Breakfast was fantastic and catered to many cultures. The pool was clean and there was seating around it in the sun or shade depending on your preference. All in all, we chose an EXCELLENT place to stay in Sanur !! There was nothing we didn’t like at the hotel. The location was a bit of a challenge because it is on a one way street so the drivers had to go past the hotel and do a U Turn to get back to it. This added one minute to the trip and about 20 cents to the fare - not a problem at all ?

The rooms felt a bit cramped.

This is a fabulous place to stay in Sanur. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the hotel itself is modern and the rooms and gardens are impeccable. The breakfast has all tastes covered from European to British to North American to Asian. It’s all there. The pool is sparkling clean and there is both bar and food service available. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay. The property is a bit of a walk from all the action down at the beach.

One thing i think could have been improved on was the dishes from room service. At various hotels you can leave it outside your room & they're collected but i noticed another rooms wasn't. We got back to the room when the cleaners were there & we said they didn't have to clean the room as we only had 1 more day but gave them our dishes & they left them outside our room & they were still there when we checked out. Not a big deal but just makes the place look messy/dirty.

Old towels like rags, no views from room.Same breakfast everyday and so so. Lobby is under renovation.

Comfortable bed, room was roomy and well appointed. Clean if not immaculate. Helpful staff. Buffet breakfast was okay. Location was a 15 minute walk to the beach which isn’t too bad. It was clean but not immaculately so. Areas were cordoned off for construction.

Staff courteous and polite. Dining area was tucked in the center area of the hotel and felt fresh. Poor surrounding with houses in the face of the hotel rooms. Lots of inhouse and external construction in surrounding area. Unable to sleep with hammer and drilling noises. Housekeeping staff knocked on the door and i was asleep and by the time i could answer the door he unlocked the door open trying to enter the room breaching the customers privacy invasion. Felt unsafe. Mattress was soiled with some marks. NO TOWELS FOR SHOWER, i had a shower just to realize there were no towels and had to dry with pillowcases. FELT UNSAFE, UNEASY and totally DISAPPOINTED .

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast menu was standard.

Distance to beach

Modern and well kept. The elevator was spotless at all times. Friendly staff. Location is off a busy highway.

food was great in the restaurant, wine was reasonable price. Staff was lovely. You can walk to town if you like, but could catch a ride for around $1 to $2 USD. Lots of laundry around very cheap for them to do it for you outside of hotel. Hotel was clean and quiet and massage is a must.

Our stay at Grand Palace Hotel was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The rooms were excellent—spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax. The ambience of the hotel is beautiful and calming, giving a true holiday feel the moment you walk in. The food was great, with a good variety and delicious flavors that catered well to everyone in our family. The location is ideal, close to key attractions yet peaceful and convenient for getting around. The swimming pool was another highlight, well maintained, refreshing, and perfect for both adults and kids to unwind and enjoy. Overall, the service, comfort, and atmosphere exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Grand Palace Hotel to anyone looking for a memorable, comfortable, and high-quality stay. We would definitely love to return again! Just a suggestion please add a sofa set in the rooms so that guests can make their visitors sit. The lighting in the rooms need to be improved, currently very dim.
