I like the location. It was quiet. The hostel itself is nice. Lots of place to sit or lounge. Room was good size. Breakfast good. I wish there would have been a mini market near by. But that seems to be hard to find in Sao Luis.

Very well located to discover the historic center and common spaces are social. Not something to dislike but to take into consideration: you make your own breakfast with what’s provided by the hostel. The shared bathroom for private rooms was not always so clean, mostly due to other guests but additional cleaning throughout the day would be appreciated.

- Extremely small room, with one window directly facing the street and without glass hence extremely noisy - Never saw such a small bed - Extremely limited breakfast (eg no tea, no eggs, almost no fruits) - Above all, very rude staff. I sent an email before arriving asking if I could check out at midday (instead of 11). Never got any reply, then when I am asking at the hostel, I am told that I have to pay a full day rate just for them to keep my luggage for one hour.

Good location, good A/C and good kitchen facilities. I had arrived early, and was allowed to check in with no problems. Adequate breakfast, but if you want eggs, you have to fry them yourself. Clean Dorm with natural light Someone in the other reviews mentioned that the owner was "arrogant", this observation was most apt, and coloured my stay at the hostel. Dorm has en-suite with cold shower. There is no external ventilation in the en-suite so all the toilet odours ventilate into the Dorm, As luck would have it, I was the only person in the Dorm, but I can only imagine what it would be like in the dorm at full capacity.

I stayed one night and everything was ok: bed, breakfast, wifi, shower ... Not the hostel fault obviously but the neighborhood wasn't really safe. Better take an Uber to go back, or walk along the rio's street.

Stuff was excellent, very helpful and kind! Love it ! The bathroom was dirty and smell in the bathroom like in the whole room was awful, kind of chemicals smell.

Extremely clean. The best hostel's kitchen I've ever seen (it even has an airfryer) and excellent equipments in general. Very nice staff. Strategically located and cosy atmosphere (good to relax not party) Some noise in our rooms (a continous sound of rain so not that annoying) Wifi was sometimes instable Simple breakfast (do not get up late! - although I've seen the staff helping those who missed breakfast time)
