The host allowed us to check in early and check out late to accommodate the time of our transfers from Barreirinhas and to Sao Luis. This made it so much easier and comfortable for us so that we didn’t have to store our luggage somewhere else or spend time outside in the heat waiting. Santo Amaro is probably the best place to stay if you want to do the tours that take you inside the park so I would say the location of this property is perfect. The place is also very clean and the amenities in the kitchen made it easy for us to make some simple food and reheat food. The host was also very communicative and responsive whenever we reached out to him about something. We really appreciated his attentiveness and flexibility.

This is a tale of two rooms! My second room, 1004, was excellent, as is the hotel in general. It was clean, the breakfasts were great, and the staff were professional and friendly. I changed rooms to be away from nearby music and a musty smell. There was none of that in the second room. The staff was helpful, both when I checked in a little early and checked out a little late due to bus schedules. My first room, 403, had things I didn't want. First was music. In the day, it was constant reggae; then, from 6 to 9 pm, it was a live dinner performer. All this came from a nearby restaurant, but although I liked the style of music, I wanted to rest and concentrate. Also, the room smelled a little musty. There was a weird thing I didn't like in both of the rooms: when you turned on or off the air conditioner, the television came on.

Lovely hotel. Located in a very strategic location. Close to everything! Can’t complain, except for the barking dogs in the neighbourhood. This is not the hotel’s fault.
