Many things need maintanence in the room, AC did not work in the bedroom, they moved us to another room promptly, the new room however had issues with the toilet flush that kept running

I really enjoyed the location and charm of this hotel. I am American from the US, but my partner is native to Sao Paulo and he felt this hotel really captured the vibe and essence of his city. It was easy to get here and parking options are available. The door staff were extremely helpful and accommodating upon our arrival and departure. Our room had a small balcony and amazing view of the city. The hotel is located next to a historic theater and Bar Brahma. We received drink tickets for a free choppe Brahma, which was a nice perk. There are also plenty of food options available nearby. The location is in close proximity to many tourist attractions. The breakfast included in our price was very good. Also the staff in the dining hall were very kind. The bathroom was a little older and a bit grimy. It could have been a little cleaner and needed better ventilation.

Great hotel. Excellent location. Super friendly staff. The breakfast lounge and the entire hotel was very well kept, comfortable and elegant. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

Three individual twin beds made our stay comfortable. The room was big. The price was very affordable (I paid $67 for a night with 3 people). The rooms were very stuffy, probably caused by the carpet flooring and humidity. Only 1 pillow per bed. The bathroom was a bit rundown and the hair dryer did not work. The complimentary shampoos and conditioner were pretty rough on your hair, so I recommend bringing your own toiletries. The location is in a sketch part of town. You cannot walk outside alone at night, or in fact even during the day. Two blocks down and you might get mugged. Lots of homeless people on the streets. The bathroom floors had not been vacuumed when we came so there were hair all over from probably the previous customer.
