Both owners, Matheus and his mother were great.

It feels like at home, in a peaceful neighborhood, pillow and bed are soft, the house is clean and organized. Supermarket, bus station are close. Every person I met here is nice, enjoy my stay so much, and definitely would like to come back again!

I nice place to stay for the night. It is very close to the airport. The bathroom is outdated and so is the kitchen.

Everything was in place, good vibes Nothing

Confy beds, the common area is also very cozy. The owner is nice, shows you around and is very available. Not much to talk about actually, the price is very reasonable, the bathrooms are as expected, small and functional.

MiCasa Hostel is clean, welcoming, and an excellent value! Continental breakfast is delicious. Good variety: fresh artesanal breads, cheeses & sliced ham, fruits, fresh juices, coffee, hot milk, cakes. Yum! The street is amazingly silent. An occasional airplane passes overhead, as expected since it's right next to the airport, but that's curiously unobtrusive. I felt relaxed and safe, which is great, given how big Sao Paulo is. Despite having two large dormitory rooms, with other guests coming and going, the vibe is very homey here. My FAVORITE part is the garden full of exuberant tropical plants! Mateus has made a jungle oasis in a small urban residential space. The plants are spectacular! Did I mention how clean it is? The floors, and surfaces everywhere looked spotless. No dust bunnies. No mold. No stains. No strange odors. I even enjoyed preparing food & eating in the shared kitchen! The property infrastructure is a bit run-down. Everything is functional though. The furniture and decorations are serviceable, but they show their age. HOWEVER, if the decorations, fixtures, and furniture were all new and pristine, up to the same level of excellence as the cleanliness, hospitality, breakfast, and living plants, then the prices would probably be out of my league! So I am not complaining! Just a heads up that these details are kind of funky, so if you need everything to be the latest model, MiCasa won't be your style.

Staff was fantastic - friendly, helpful and kind. Mateus gave us loads of help in letting us know where to get groceies (including which were pricier/better priced) and toiletries. He showed us many different plants that he grows (we are plant buffs, so this was really interesting)! The neighbourhood felt very safe for us to walk to/from where we needed to go - people on rooftop patios or in yards sayind "bom dia" as we passed by. The place was very clean! We had an unexpected bonus of AC added to the room we moved to after 2 nights!! The only issue we had was with the showers. We started in one room and moved to another. The showers were problematic in both rooms - one due to some wiring work that had been done and the other likely needed to be replaced. Mateus did his very best to accommodate - replacing fuses in the shower head and providing an alternate shower for one of the days.

I’ve been traveling through South America for 5 months in various countries, including Brazil, and this is the cleanest hostel I have stayed in during the whole period - everything was absolutely spotless. The bed was super comfy, the shower was really hot and there’s a nice big outdoor space to relax in. The hostel were in touch with me beforehand to ensure check in was as quick and easy as possible. A perfect place to stay before flying from the local airport!
