Location Theft on the premises DO NOT STAY HERE. The extra credit/debit cards that were packed in the luggage we left in the “safe” storage room at checkout went missing. Thousands of dollars were charged before we could cancel our cards. Though our stay at the hotel was pleasant, the feeling of having our things rifled through and the hotel’s dismissive response to this theft are prompting me to warn travellers to find other accommodations.

The staff were very kind, great location with everything I needed.

Excellent location and very friendly and helpful staff. There was a staff person out front at all times, which was helpful for security when waiting for Ubers and also with suitcases I have no complaints about the property.

The people working at Vila Gale were absolutely great. They were helpful, very generous, and friendly. They gave me a US/Brazil power adapter to use when I arrived late at night to check in, they gave me advice about where to find food and other items, and they were just lovely to interact with whenever I came and went. The location was unbeatable for access to the Paulista neighborhood. Highly recommend. There was an online scam who contacted me via WhatsApp saying that I had to submit my credit card information for Via Gale or else my reservation would be cancelled. I nearly gave the information - but was suspicious - even as a foreigner. The scammer contacted me three different times saying they were with Via Gale and Booking.com and again, threatening to cancel my reservation. I can imagine other visitors very easily falling prey to this scam.

My stay at this hotel was much more than just accommodation. It was an experience of care, kindness, and genuine hospitality during one of the most delicate moments of my life. I spent a full month here in Brazil for surgery, and even while undergoing treatment, I needed to continue working remotely. Having a safe, clean, quiet space with reliable internet was essential — and I found all of that, and so much more. The atmosphere always carried a light, positive energy. Every detail, from the spotless cleanliness to the attentiveness of the staff, gave me the comforting feeling of being in good hands. It wasn’t just a room or a restaurant — it felt like a daily embrace of kindness and care that made me feel truly at home, even far from my own. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who made this journey lighter and more special: Beautiful people at Reception: thank you for every smile, for your patience with my questions, and for always being ready to assist. A special thanks to Gabriel, Vitória, Katia and Eduardo, who welcomed me with professionalism and good humor every day. To the others I met less often, please know that your kindness did not go unnoticed. Restaurant Team: how could I not be touched by the warmth of a team that turned meals into moments of care each day? My gratitude to Deborah, Letícia, Kaio, Thiago, and Matheus for their constant attentiveness, and to the chef, for the delicious meals prepared with such dedication and flavor. Housekeeping: my sincere thanks to Rose and Fernanda, who, with dedication and kindness, kept my room comfortable and responded to every request with patience and a smile. This month showed me that true hospitality lives in people — and here, I found people who work with heart. My sincere thanks to all of you for making me feel safe, cared for, and at home. I will always remember this hotel not just for its comfort and facilities, but above all for the extraordinary people. I truly thank you all. One gentle suggestion: it would be wonderful if the hotel could prepare to welcome dogs as well. That would make the experience even more complete for guests traveling with pets.

Good place to stay. The bedroom was very small. Small room, poor view.

Great value for money, with an excellent location near the metro and Avenida Paulista. The reception staff were kind and helpful, especially Eduardo, who was outstanding. The restaurant staff were also attentive, though the dinner food was not always at the same level. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Some of the dishes offered for dinner at the restaurant could be better.

Room was clean and bed comfortable English was very limited, room was dull colors and shower large but seemed old. No one helped with carrying luggage up/down steps outside even though a uniformed man was there. Staff seemed disinterested except for the housekeeper. I was charged for water in the fridge even though there was no sign and I wasn’t told there was a fee. I think maybe this is a hotel mainly for Brazilians

During my recent stay at Hotel Vila Gale Paulista in São Paulo, I had the pleasure of dining at the hotel’s restaurant, where the experience was exceptional. Our host, Allff, truly stood out with his professionalism and attention to detail. He not only remembered our names and orders after our initial four-day stay but also greeted us warmly upon our return a week later, showcasing his remarkable memory and dedication to guest service. The restaurant staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. I particularly want to commend Eduardo and Vitoria at the front desk for their outstanding recommendations and support, which enhanced our overall experience. If you’re looking for a restaurant with attentive service and a warm atmosphere, I highly recommend dining at Hotel Vila Gale Paulista.
