Hotel is under renovation. Rooms are Nice, but there is construction work going on that makes it really loud throughout

The room has a comfortable size, bigger than most in the same category. A king size bed makes a difference when traveling with kid. I had a very uncomfortable situation at the hotel, I ordered an ifood and asked the restaurant for plates and cutlery, and to my surprise, they charged me for using them.

The location was good, the room was nice and the breakfast was very good Outside of the regular, it was pretty bad. While the page claims it has, as an example, an electric kettle, none was available. When I’ve requested a bigger coffee cup to the staff, they’ve claimed all that was available in the room was standard and nothing else was available, so I had to ask the restaurant, which was a contractor service and not guaranteed by the hotel, if they had one available. I’ve received a delivery, but none of the staff could bring it up to the room, so I had to go downstairs to get my delivery. Additionally, the maintenance was pretty bad, my shower was broken, it could not be moved from very near to the wall. Every additional cost was very expensive. My check in was set to 2PM, but my plane arrived early in the morning, so I’ve requested an early check in. To my surprise, the cost was over what I had paid for a full day! When the staff was asked about a late checkout, the price was even higher! Finally, after my early check in, I went downstairs to have my breakfast, which was included in my stay for free and, another surprise, even though the early check in was pretty much the same price paid for a full day, breakfast is not available for early check ins, and that was not mentioned before I had paid for the early check in.

Location Staff were a little cold and unfriendly, corridor to bedrooms could use an upgrade felt dark and like a prison wing. When we asked to borrow a knife and fork and plate we were told of a charge of 8/ 10 reais per piece. absolutely absurd and very unpleasant
