APA Hotel Sapporo Susukino Ekimae

Location is great. Staff were also nice. My bed sagged. The property is on the old side for Apa hotels. They have a video on the tv for the facilities but not accurate. For example, they say there is space to put your suitcase under the bed but no space. They say that there is a button on the panel by the bed that turns off all the lights but no button. For quick trips or business travel Apa is not bad but this one is on the old side

Location Small room

the location is really good and a close enough walk to the station. i really like how there's a lawson attached to the hotel. i especially liked the bath area. very much spacious and made me look forward to bathing every night despite being really tired. Amenties provided in room was very pleasant as well. not too sure if it was js a once off thing but when i stayed there, there was an issue w the coin laundries at L1 that left me stranded with dripping wet laundry at 2am because of the coin laundry (counter stuck at 8mins for 20mins & was still dripping wet) +dryer (prev guest put in to dry for 2hrs but still wet) malfunction that we all had no idea about. the staff at the time told me there was nth he could do to help with my, mind you heavy dripping wet laundry in sub zero temperatures outside at 2am despite the hotel offering laundry services. not too sure if the service is like this across all apa outlets but it was a very frustrating experience that made me not want to stay at APA again. Furthermore, there is alm Zero sound proofing at all in the room i stayed at 2nd level. at 3am i could hear other guests' doors opening and closing that woke me up thinking my Own door got opened. Very. Very. scary experience esp since i was a woman solo traveller.

Rooms were to small

Location was close to bus stop and train stations and shopping.

Perfect location, right outside the Toho subway line. Reasonably priced. Included breakfast. Outdated rooms. We had what seemed to be an ADA/handicap room, which was great for the space however it was very outdated and we gave 2 small kids who accidentally pressed the SOS button next to the toilet thinking it was the flush button (it’s placed in a place similar to some other toilets he’s used). The breakfast was very traditional Japanese breakfast. Very few options if you do not like that type of breakfast.

Love the location with close distance to both tram and metro. Close proximity to shops and tourist spots. Location on the closer side to parks and mountains. Big surprise on the size of the bathroom as it is bigger then the other APA location I stayed in before. Convenient entrance to Lawson from the lobby without the need of going outside. Mounting TV on the wall would give some more desk space but that is a nitpick.

Hotel is located in a good location, near train stations, restaurants and establishments in Susukino area. There's also a Lawson in the same building as the hotel and a 7-11 across the hotel. Staff was also helpful when we need to ship our luggage from Sapporo to Ginza The bed and pillow is not comfortable. They also don't provide water. They also don't collect garbage in the room and they don't do daily housekeeping. They will only clean the room every 3 days
