You want informal English, not a Shakespeare audition. Here: Really great stay. The microwave outside was super helpful. The room heater worked well, everything was clean, and the bathroom was also very clean. Got drinking water every day, which was nice. I stayed for 6 nights and was very satisfied. The location is very strategic, close to 7-Eleven. Will definitely stay here again someday. The hotel is centrally located, a fairly close walk to both the main train station and Hokkaido University, in one direction, and the popular restaurants in the Susukino neighborhood, in the other direction. I was impressed by their breakfast buffet, which has lots of tasty Japanese food (lots of pickled veggie and seafood sides) as well as desserts (corn pudding and coffee jelly). The public bath in the basement is somewhat small, but a nice perk to have available. There is only one key provided with each room, even if there are multiple guests. It is a physical key, and the hotel suggests that you leave the key at the front desk while you are out during the day. This was not so bad for me personally, but may inconvenience some guests.

Great location right near the main train station without being right next to it so it was easy to access without feeling too busy. Great stores and restaurants next door and in the immediate area, plus quick and easy access to tourist sites. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

Great breakfast buffet, with some change-ups over multi-night stays: stew vs curry, German potato vs tuna croquettes, coffee jelly vs apple jelly. The cheesecake and cream puffs were also very good. As for the room, the mattress and pillows were the most comfortable we’ve experienced so far in a hotel. None

Public baths on site is a great way to end ant long tiring day. Rooms and bed were larger than average for anything I've stayed at previously. Generously provided with a lot of daily amenities, with vending machines on each floor for more drinks. Conveniently located between three different conbinis. Short walk to Odori park, Sapporo station and the Chip Bus Terminal. All the staff were helpful, polite and cheerful. Breakfast buffet was good value, tasty and nutritious. Had wonderful sleep. Hardly any noise from the street despite being next to a bus stop. Will definitely be back again! Not able to keep some power outlets on while you are away from room means can't really charge things when away. Not a major deal but something to consider.

the receptionists are all very friendly and helpful and very professional! The rooms are spacious but the bathroom is expectedly small. the onsen is quite small.
