Wish there was a place so guests can talk stories and eat snacks/drink. Also wished there was a shuttle to Susukino from the hotel.

The breakfast buffet that came with my reservation was excellent! One of the best that I have had! The staff at the restaurant very nice and constantly working to keep things filled, in order and clean. Loved the free shuttle from 11 am - 6:30p to and from Shibuya station! Loved how quiet it was! The room I got was huge even for US standards! The furniture is very dated though and needs a refresh. You can tell that in its day the hotel was rather grand! It’s prime! The location for me was not the best. Nothing right outside but the shuttle to and from Shibuya station is a plus. Coming from staying in Shibuya where everything is right outside your door probably had an impact on my opinion.

Despite the slightly far location, I really enjoy my stay there with my friends. The room was spacious and since there were 5 of us, we managed to secure the connecting rooms! the facilities are old but top notch. I especially enjoy the hot bath and also the massage chair on the 3rd floor. Wish the shuttle bus provided covers more hours and the bathroom was slightly noisy

The room was large and a beautiful view of the snow covered area around the river. The free shuttle bus to Sapporo and back was an extra bonus.

The staff was lovely and helped us out on everything. The room was nice and the amenities especially the free drinks(including beer) was fantastic.

The breakfast is exceptional. I especially liked the French toasts, they were phenomenal!

The hotel is beautifully located by the Toyohira River, and the snowy views were stunning, making the winter walk to Susukino Station much more enjoyable. We really appreciated the direct airport shuttle, which meant we didn’t have to drag our suitcases to the nearby train station. The staff were all wonderful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the spacious room and the lovely view from our window. It would be great to have self-service laundry on site. The hotel does offer laundry service via room service, but it is on the pricier side. We did, however, find a laundromat within walking distance.

Breakfast buffet had many options and was well rounded although it was limited as far as western vegetarian options. Staff was very helpful and called us taxis several times. Room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the city. Comfortable bed. Room was dated and could definitely use some new furniture. Bathroom was clean although mold around the vents and some in the shower corners. Restaurants closed early and all we could get at the bar was snacks at 8:30pm. Walking into this grand hotel the first thing I noticed walking to reception was holes in the carpet and how worn it is. Not a great first impression.

I like location. Staff can speak English well and very helpful. Arr Family asked them to reserve the restaurant almost every day.

Biggest bathroom I have experienced in japanese hotel. Nice food. Airconditioning. Room was pretty hot. I slept with airconditioner off.

Walking distance to the most crowded shopping area in Sapporo city, very near by department stores, airport bus exactly in front of the Hotel TV channels very limited and only local channels, also will be helpful for tourists if they have their own Tour desk

Very spacious room (compared to the many other 10-12 sqm rooms I stayed in Japanese hotels) with all facilities. The hotel is about 1.5 km away from the city center (train stations) and walking to the nearest metro station is a 15-20 min walk.
